    Hi everyone. :)

I am currently 6w 4d with my fraternal twins, and I feel as though I should be a lot sicker! If I hadn't had a scan I'd be doubting there was one in there, let alone two!

I am super tired and my (.)(.) are telling me I am pg... but after having a m/c in March, I am FREAKING OUT every time I am not sick.

A best I can get a mmm, I dont feel too good, but no vomiting.

I would love to hear everyone else's experiences. :)

I never got sick. In fact I felt great the whole time..better than usual. I worried up until my first scan only to find out it was twins. I even said to the doc...what, I don't even feel sick????

I was never sick either and prior to getting pg with my twins, I had a m/c so NOT being sick was the worst! I was tired and had really sore breats, but other than that- nothing! I was sick with my dd so not being sick with these two after the m/c was tough! Try not to worry. I know that's easier said than done but with twins you will probably have more ultrasounds than a singleton (depending on your doctor.) Good luck and if you can- enjoy the fact that you're not sick- a lot of women pg with twins get it twice as bad as singletons!!

I've never even been slightly nauseated! Don't wish yourself sick! That's crazy! It doesn't mean anything except that we are lucky!

I didn't get sick with the twins until around 9wks and it was bad until 13wks and then it went away until the end. This baby however I have puked at least 3x a week every morning without fail!!!

I have had multiple MC's and when I finally got PG with my daughter, I never got sick, had a couple more MC's and then got PG with the twins, I only JUST felt nauseous a few times and mostly when I was overheated in the shower or when I was brushing my teeth (I would get heaves)...but I never got sick. That was between 5-8wks, then nothing afterwords. Like the others, my BB's were very sore and I was extremely tired. That's about it. Good luck!!

I never really got sick either. I could count on one hand the times I felt even a little bit nauseous.

No!! You do not want to be sick! I started around 7-8 weeks and threw up all day, every day. I used to have to carry platic bags with me in the car because I would throw up driving, can't believe I never got pulled over by the police-hahaha. It ended around 13 weeks. I am not a complainer and can handle being sick and in pain but my 'morning sickness' made me want to die.

I was naseous from about week 6 to about week 9 - puked a few times but nothing major - and as soon as I hit week 9 it just disappeared...

I totally understand you wanting to be sick so you know you are still pregnant. I never got sick with either and as soon as I felt I wasn't pregnant, I would take a test that I had lying around. It was always positive and reassuring. I didn't even bleed when I lot twin b with my second pregnancy.

    Thanks ladies. ;0

I know Im a bit nuts...I just want something familiar to remind me. This sucks!! WIth my first two, it had never crossed my mind that there could be an issue. Never considered it. With DD I was sick all day every day, and with DS, just the normal bit blergh feelings for first few weeks.

I know I'm over tired, at least I guess I am, yesterday I got up at 11am, had a bath, went back to be until 1pm, had a luncheon, came home, went to bed a slept all night long. Tired much?? But the no sickness is throwing me...you just EXPECT that with two, it will be a big deal.

I will try try try to not think the worst. :)

I was never sick nor did I ever feel like I was pregnant. If it wasn't for my belly and eventually the kicks that they would give me, I was always shocked to know that I was pregnant!

I didn't get sick until I was around 8 or 9 weeks along, so maybe it's still coming! When it started to go away around week 14 I got really worried that something was wrong because I was only throwing up once or twice a day instead of all day long, but everything was fine. I didn't find out it was twins until I was 16 weeks... Every pregnancy is different, so maybe you just won't get sick with this one...

I'm so jelous of all of you that didn't get sick. I was sick from 6 weeks till 20 weeks and then again at the end.
I understand you just want to know the baby ok but try to enjoy feeling good.

At about 6 weeks I literally had 1 day of complete nausea. I had no idea I was pregnant & actually went home from work. Flash forward to finding out I was pregnant, (8 or 9 weeks) the very next day I got sick. Then sicker, then having unexplained bleeding, going to the hospital for an u/s ("Do you know you are having twins?" "NO!"). At the point of the u/s I thought I was 7 weeks- I was 11. (I TOLD those fools at my insurance company that period was only 3 days and really light. It was implantation.) The m/s continued until well into my 2nd trimester. I also barfed and drove.

Take heart- there is still time to be violently ill.

i've had this rollercoster of nausea and extream hunger.Compleatly diffrent than my last(successful) pregnacy where I felt sick most of the time, thew up a few times a week thew up the whole time, and had no appitite. Glad to know there are plenty of twin moms who had a puke-free pregnancy...reassuring for sure!

I didn't read any of the other replies, but just wanted to let you know I never experienced any sickness with my twin pregnancy. None. So, don't let that old wives tale get your worried. :) (I did let it worry me during my first pregnancy!!) You don't have to experience "morning" sickness to have a healthy pregnancy. :)

After the original "oh my God"s upon seeing 2 babies on the u/s, the next thing I said was, "It can't be twins! I don't even have any symptoms!" I was 10w2d. The next morning I threw up. LOL!

I never had any morning sickness with the twins. Not once. So I was really worried when I got pregnant this time and was feeling nauseous all the time, but there is only 1 baby. Doesn't really make sense. I guess every pregnancy is different.

I had low grade nausea starting at about 5 weeks, and at 7 weeks it dramatically escalated. I have been on Zofran because it is so miserable, at this point. I am dying for it to go away! However I really was fine until about 7 weeks.

Really glad to hear about all of those that did not get sick during their twin pregnancies. Now I don't feel so alone =) I'm hoping these will be my only babies (I am 37y.o.) so that I don't have to tempt fate.

  25. I didn't get sick until I caught a stomach bug from work at 9 weeks then I was throwing up everything even water so I went to the er and they did an u/s and said it was twins I was so shocked! Now at 13 weeks I feel a little nauseous every now and then and if I don't eat when I'm hungry I vomit.

I was so sick with all my pregnancies. With my son I lost 10 lbs in two weeks and had to go get fluids, couldn't keep anything down..it was horrible. With the girls, I was not quite as sick, but most days I was praying to keep everything down that I ate. Being pregnant for me was never fun...I was just always soooo sick well into my 2nd trimester.

I am will be 21 weeks on Thursday and am feeling hungry all the time, now! From about 8 weeks to around 16 weeks I was pretty queasy feeling with little appetite. Never threw up, but definitly didn't put on any weight during that time. Smells and sights of food would make me feel like I was gonna hurl!! I was CRAZY tired, too, during that same time frame (8-16 weeks). Feeling better now with more energy, just am getting bigger now so I am moving much more slowly.
