Seriously! Seriuosly?

At my OB appointment yesterday I was measuring 44 cm! 44!!! I literally just wanted to sit down and CRY when I walked out of my exam room to leave and she said "oh by the way....you've officially hit the plus 40 club". I'm only 34 weeks, btw.

I knew there was a reason my asthma was acting up and now I know it's because I've got babies in my lungs.

So....what was the point where you just wanted to throw up your hands? How many weeks are you ladies and how big are you measuring? For those of you that aren't pregnant right now, what was the biggest you got before you delivered?

 

The first time I was measured was my 22 wk appt and the doc didnt even measure right. Maybe I should pull out some measuring tape and find out. I have been curious :FIFblush:

 

So far, I am only measuring about 3-4wks ahead. I go again on Thursday and I have definitely grown, so I will see then if I have surpassed teh 4wks ahead mark.

 

I don't know my exact measurement - but definitely in the 40's --. I have been measuring my waist every week (not the uterus height) and it literally has increased 1 inch every week for the past 10 weeks - last week I was measuring 47 inches. I have almost put on 60lbs and tomorrow I'll be 34 weeks, ugh! I just hope these babies come out nice and plump!!

 

I measured about 10 weeks ahead at when I was at 34/35/36 weeks. I delivered 37+ weeks.

 

My lat appt I made it to was my 27.5 wk appt and I was measuring 39 weeks. I was miserable at that point and couldn't imagine getting any bigger. I delivered about a week later. I applaud you ladies measuring soo big and hanging in there for so long!

 

sad part is, I've only gained about 30 lbs. DH made a comment the other day about how my boobs have gotten so big and he was starting to think they were shrinking until he realized my belly was just getting too big. I coulda slapped him!

 

At my 31 week appointment I was measuring 43 weeks.

I have another appointment tomorrow and expect the number to be even higher. I had an u/s yesterday measuring my fluid level and it was extremely high and the babies are measuring big.

The u/s tech asked me if I was still able to breathe. I just looked at her and thought to myself if I wasn't able to breathe would I be here now???

I'm 35 weeks and yesterday measured 44. But I think I have a "deep" uterus. I'm majorly uncomfortable and this just started last week - I don't know how long I'm actually going to make it.

 

I delivered at 38 weeks measuring 49...

 

Ok ladies, I want pictures of this hugeness! I delivered at 34 weeks on the nose. My OB never told me my fundal height so I have no clue how big I was. I also didn't take any belly pictures. I really wish I would have now.

Wow, this is the thread for me! Stop reading now if you don't want to participate in my pity party!I am 34 weeks today and measure at 40. I have never been so uncomfortable in my life. My uterus feels taut with babies at all times and I don't imagine I can get any bigger. To add insult to injury, I am so off balance that I wipped out on the way to the MD last week and ended up flying onto my hands and knees. Luckily my belly never hit down. I ripped open one of the only pairs of pants that fit and now my knee is super swollen and scabbed up and I can't even bend it all the way. This particularly sucks whan I am trying to lower myself to the toliet which at this point is pretty much non-stop. Boo Hoo!

I'm 31 weeks, measuring 39 weeks. Yikes! And I swear its increased since yesterday - new stretchmarks today!

 

When I delivered at 38 weeks exact, I was measuring 52 weeks!Oh the pain and misery but well worth it!

 

At 32 weeks I measured 41. I am huge. If I could attach a pic here I would - I still cant figure out how to post pics here! it doesnt seem to allow them and I dont have any other accounts to load pics too. annoying!

 

I measured about 10 weeks ahead and went to 36 weeks. My pre-pregancy size was a 6 so I had quite a transformation. My doc stopped measuring me for a while but we did it just for kicks and a good laugh towards the end. It's all perspective.

 

OMG this is scary.... Id like to know how far ahead Im measuring, cause I already feel .... fluffy and full

 

Just thought I'd update my measurements since I went to the dr today. I'm 33 weeks and measuring 50!! WOW

 

I am 26 weeks and measuring 32!!

 

I delivered my twins at 35+2...measuring a whopping 56cm. When I was on the OR table the anesthesiologist looked at my stomach and asked how I could even breathe.

 

Delivered at 37.5 and was measuring 52!!!

 

I was measuring about 8 weeks ahead at some point, but I never made it to more than 43 cm. I gained 43 pounds in total and my babies were big (almost 8lbs a piece) so you would have thought I would measure a lot larger, but it wasn't too bad (even with my oldest I measured 41 cm, but it looked differently).

 

I am 32 weeks and measure at 40 weeks! I feel so uncomfortable but keep reminding myself that it will all be worth it. So far I am not on bedrest of any kind and they want me to look at delivering around 38 weeks which means 6 more weeks of growth == SCARY!

It's so great to read all of your posts. I love this site! I am new to this group and really appreciate all of your words of wisdom.

I consistently measured 6 weeks ahead and was 44 when I delivered at 36.6 weeks. I kept an excel spreadsheet of my growth and the twins throughout the pregnancy and it's fun to look back at now and remember how huge I was...but it's entirely worth it I promise!!
