So I went to my OB, NST and BPP this morning. I'm glad she does it all on the same day because it means I only have to deal with it one day a week, but I hate being in their office for HOURS. Anyways....doc said that both babies looked great on the ultrasound and NST. She said my BP was a little high (145/87) but that she's just waiting for it to spike because I already failed a 24 hour urine screen and already take BP meds. Then she asked when my next growth scan was (I told her next Thursday) and she then said "Well in that case we'll repeat your BPP and NST on Friday and then see you again next Monday for your regular appointment."

But she never really gave an explanation for why. So now I'm wondering why she'd have me come in for another FULL appointment on Friday just to come in again 3 days later. Has anybody else had twice a week NST/BPPs?

Yes, I have been doing twice a week NSTs since 33 weeks but mine are mono/di too. It is kind of a pain in the butt but I like seeing how they are doing and I think my doctors just wanted to be overly cautious at this point.

my girls were also mono/di and we also did twice weekly NSTs from 27 weeks as well as u/s every two weeks from that point (i had some signs of PTL as well as TTTS starting at 27 weeks). it sounds like they're just keeping a close eye because of your BP but maybe just give your docs office a call & ask why she wanted to see you again? it can't hurt to know and may go a long way to easing any anxiety you might be feeling.

I start twice weekly nsts bpps at 32 weeks. My girls are didi. I too though twice a week was alot. Maybe because I'm almost 40??? I dunno. I'm not looking forward to them as I have to find someone to watch my 15month old.

Yeah I've definitely got di/di twins. They had a little trouble getting our girl to move around and had to "buzz" at her and shake my belly a bit. Maybe that could be why, too, along with my BP.

I had NST/BPP twice a week as well and at 34 weeks I started seeing the doctor weekly. It does sound like they just want to keep a close eye on you and that's good.
