FY Summer White Elephant Gift Exchange

We are going to do it again. We had a great thread for the holidays!!

For all of you who are interested please PM me (DATJMom) with a gift that you would love or hate to have for Summer while in the First Year. It needs to be no more than $50. Send me a link from Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, etc... Once we have all of the gifts and know all of the participants, one of us will put out the order of which you will draw for gifts. Please try and check back daily if your name is getting close so you can see if you want to pick or steal a gift.

Rules:

The participant with #1 will get a gift given to them by me from whatever was PM'd to me. Each successive participant, in the order determined by the Mod Team can either 1) "steal" an already "opened" gift (if there's one they really like) or 2) be adventurous and ask one of the mods for a wrapped gift from the pile If the participant chooses to steal, the person whose gift is stolen now repeats his turn and either 1) steals another person's gift (he cannot immediately steal back the gift that was just stolen from him) or 2) asks for a new gift from the Mods.

Since items can be stolen, the item in your "possession" is not yours until the game is over. However, this will be amended with a rule declaring a gift "dead" or "safe" after it has been stolen three times.

The game is over once all all gifts are opened.

Ok my kids are too small for the table, the sand table is too messy for my OCD, and we have the swing. I think I am going to steal the umbrella. I could use it for some shade in the backyard.

 

Strap that umbrella to a deck rail or something and it works fantastic! We literally have 3 covering our deck right now!
