Ok, so I have been looking for a place to introduce myself and this is as good a place as any  . Lets see I have been married to a Marine for almost 5 yrs now. We have an older daugher who will be 3 in July. Found out we were prego in Dec, the one month we werent trying, figures! Had the first ultrasound at 12 wks didnt look to see if there were 2, had my 16 wks appt and only heart the hb for 5 seconds. Went to our 20 wk ultrasound last monday and found out we are having twins! :woah: A boy and a girl. We are really excited just still in a bit of shock. I have been a member of diaper swappers for almost 3 years now and I am really excited to find a place devoted to twins! I have found alot of hope knowing that I could actually make it to the hubby be there for delivery. He has been accepted for the officer program and has to go to prep school for 2+ months, he should be returning at 37 1/2 wks. I plan to be staying with my gma which means she will be sure I take it easy and she is really excited about going shopping  I am just really looking forward to having other moms to talk to ask questions to who have been in this situation. And just to warn you, I tend to ramble sometimes:FIFblush:
Welcome and congrats! If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend Dr. Luke's "When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads". I firmly believe following her program got me to 37w 5d.
CONGRATULATIONS on expecting twins!!!! and welcome to TS!!! Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy
I agree--this book is fantastic and I also think it was instrumental in getting me this far in pregnancy. Welcome! This forum is great and full of really supportive twin moms and moms to be!
