Any ideas of online stores that do maternity clothes for twin mums?? My jeans are rapdily getting too tight over my belly, but I havevnt put enough weight on the backs of my legs or bum to be able to buy two sizes up (which would fit belly) so am in a dilemma!! Tops arent a problem yet, just pants :( Oh, and I am 23.4 weeks so still got 13 weeks to go!!!

I was able to wear my maternity jeans/pants over my belly until the end, but the bottom part where the stretch fabric met the real fabric of the pants started to dig in a lot when I sat down just due to the sheer size of my belly! I ended mostly wearing Lululemon yoga pants throughout my third trimester...I went in for my c section in them lol. It was the only thing that really fit and was super comfortable to wear. I felt like a slob sometimes, and really missed being able to wear the cute maternity clothes that are out there...but my belly was just too huge!

Never found anything especially for twin Moms, I just bought a few things in larger sizes even though it meant that it didn't fit right everywhere, and mostly I just decided not to waste any more money and just wear my yoga stuff til the end.

Agreeing with the PP on feeling like a slob sometimes, I've been living in gaucho pants. Old Navy sells some online for maternity that are super stretchy and they have a roll down panel. I think I got mine for 10.50. They have them (or had anyways) in lots of different colors. Of course I've only been able to do this since the weather has been relatively nice....before I would wear drawstring scrub pants. It's not the best but it works.

I'm to the point where the panel on my maternity jeans is just too much of a hassle. I'm constantly having to hike it up and I hate messing with my clothes like that all the time in public. My shirts are also to the point to where they don't cover my entire belly. It sucks. I know that if I felt like I looked better I would probably feel better. LOL

    Good luck on your search!

I agree with all that's been said--that stretchy part does start to dig in and get uncomfortable. I've found that I'm pretty comfortable in either dresses (esp. now that it's getting warmer) or leggings from Target. You can order them online--Liz Lange makes black, brown, etc. I also have a pair of black stretchy pants from Belly Basics that are awesome. Dresses will make you look like a tent but they *are* comfortable. And I got a few Be Maternity camisoles from Target that I wear literally every day and just throw a big shirt or top over them. But I'm not working now so I don't really care what I look like. :)

I do remember going through the same thing at around 22 weeks and having to buy some more clothes that I could wear to work. My advice to you--if you go to a maternity store and you're trying on clothes, put the fake belly over your current belly and that should give you a sense of what it will be like in the end. It seems crazy (like, how could I possibly get that big??) but it's pretty spot on.

JCPenney's maternity goes up to 3X as does Motherhood Maternity...not only did I have twins but I'm plus sized anyway...amazingly enough I carried really high so the bottom part of my belly didn't really get that big but it looked like I had a bubble under my ribs!

they are lightweight & so comfortable. I seriously wear them every single day. You can wash them and they dry in like 10 minutes (they're poplin) Wearing them now in fact. I really need to go back and buy them in a different color but I figure why bother?? Thank GOD I dont work - I dunno what Id wear everyday. I look like a slob too. Im starting not to care though :)

Dresses! I looked like I had a big ole beach ball under them but they were so comfy and the only thing that eventually didn't ride up and not cover my belly!
