Hey ladies. So I went for an OB appointment this morning and they started my nst's today. The doc sent me straight to the hospital for a bpp and steroid shots. I guess both babies experienced enough decels for her to be concerned. send a prayer or a good thought our way if you think about it.

You've got our prayers. Also, FWIW, when I was 31 weeks 6 days, I went for an NST and also ended out doing a 4 hour stint in L & D triage. After a very scary day (where we also got the steroid shots), I was put on modified bedrest and things have completely calmed down. So, I'll be praying for the same for you - one bad day, but an otherwise healthy continuation of your pregnancy.

So try to relax and definitely slow down if you haven't already.

    Good luck.

Fingers crossed for you! btw, one of my good friends was sent to L&D straight from the OB at 29 weeks and stayed overnight, put on bed rest for a few weeks as well. Her twins came at 37 weeks and they're doing great! Positive thoughts that all goes well for you too!

Thanks everyone! At the hospital they hooked me up to the monitors again and both babies were still decel-ing some but not as much. They did a BPP on the babies and both babies passed the BPP and had adequate fluid. Although our girl did have quite a bit less than the boy, but I guess it was still in the normal range. Which is EXCELLENT. My OB toyed with the idea of keeping me at least overnight if not over the weekend, but I talked her into letting me come home on bedrest because I really didn't want to spend Easter away from my family. I have to go back to the hospital tomorrow morning though to turn in my 24 hour urine catch and to get my second steroid shot. Then I'm going to go back to my OB Monday for another NST and then I see my peri on Wednesday for a growth scan. My OB said after we do those two things then she's going to discuss it with the peri and decide what to do.

Thank you ladies for your thoughts and prayers. We really appreciate it! My OB said she really wants to see us go to 34 weeks. So that's our goal for now. 3 weeks from Monday. And of course if we make it to there, we'll start looking for 37. :)

Praying for you guys. I hope you have a nice easter with your family, and great news at your next NST and scan.

Hey, another question about all of this. I'm not sure if it's related to the steroid shot or not but for the last couple of hours my face has been numb. Anybody else have this after getting the shot?

Sounds like something worth putting in a call to your doc. SOO glad to hear things went well!
