One of my twins is so rough. He scratches and swipes at everything in arms reach. I have to try to keep them apart because one just tears the other one up. I have had gouges carved out of my face. I can only imagine how painful it is to the other twin. Anyone else have this problem and what do you do about it? Whenever I put them on the ground to play they always gravitate towards each other. I have to keep my eye on them at all times. Its sad that one practically has to be in the jumper all the time when the other is out playing on the ground.

Mine are very rough with one another. My DD is the worst. She is cruising while DS still scoots. I think that is a big part of it. DS is starting to fight back. When they do get rough I pull them apart and do my best to redirect them. It has been a battle for almost three months though.

YES! Jace is so much rougher than Tanner :( but he is also more mobile, he will roll over to his brother who is stationary on the floor haha and start to pull at his ears

The other night though, in the grocery cart at Costco Tanner started to do it to Jace too, so they may have an even match as soon as Tanner can (or chooses too) move.

I think mine both have their moments. Noah typically is a little rougher than Luke and now he has started using him as an object to pull up on (rather push down on while he tries to stand). At any rate, I stay close by when they have floor time. I let them play but separate them if its getting rough. They always gravitate toward eachother too. I keep nails trimmed short. Hairpulling is becoming a little bit of a problem now too since they are starting to get some. I feel your pain and I'm sure this is going to be a battle at least for the short term. Maybe they'll grow out of it when they get to college. :)

My two went through this at 8 months or so... when Mary could crawl and Hannah couldn't yet. Mary would crawl up to Hannah, put her little hands on her belly and bounce up and down (kinda like doing the Heimlich) Anyway, Hannah would cry and scream and I felt really bad for her. When Hannah could crawl, so could get away and Mary stopped doing it. Now, they'll "beat" up on each other equally!

I could have written this post. My boys beat up on each other, pull hair, and now bite. WTF?
    Is there a solution?
