I have an appointment with my OB on Wednesday. Since we're at 30 weeks she said she's going to start weekly cervix checks and weekly NSTs and BPPs will start next week. :)

I have an ultrasound on Wednesday....I will be 18.5 weeks! I guess this is the one they do a lot of measuring and stuff. We are also hoping to find out the sex of the babies!!!! So exciting. I'll update after the apt.

27 weeks! I can't believe how far along I suddenly am!

This Thursday we have the gestational diabetes test (was suposed to be next week, but this is a lighter week at work, so I moved it) and general checkup with the OB, who I am meeting for the first time (there are three in this office, I LVOE the other two, so I am hoping this one works out well!).

And I finally got scheduled for my Level 2! Two weeks ago they called and said they wanted to do a Level 2 to make sure they were growing ok... and I waited and waited and waited. We're going Thursday afternoon. Hope its ok to go after the gb test!

Will let you all know how it goes...

I have a 16-week checkup and ultrasound today. I'll be seeing a different OB in the practice since my doctor is out on vacation. The practice I go to has you see every doctor at some point during the pregnancy just in case your regular doctor isn't available to deliver you. I can't wait to see the babies. I woke up in a good mood just knowing I would see them. It's been a little over 3 weeks since my last ultrasound and it always makes me feel happy and excited to see them doing well and moving around in there. I'm also hoping we might be able to see the sex today. *fingers crossed*

I will be 30 weeks!! Will have my 2nd bpp on Friday and this time will drink a bit of juice to wake the girls up so we don't have to poke and prod them to get them moving, last time they were napping.

Ok, I have been working on these tickers and obviously not computer literate, lol!

My babies were good, but I didn't have the big u/s today, just the small portable grainy one. I think there was a mixup when scheduling my appointment. Dealing with appointment scheduling there is always so confusing. This is the second time my appointment wasn't scheduled correctly so I've learned my lesson and will be very specific with her about what kinds of appointments I should have each time. Since I'm carrying twins I am having more frequent appointments than usual so I think that confuses them. So, the babies looked good, I am doing good, but we couldn't see sex and didn't really find out much about their size or anything. I have the u/s re-scheduled for my next appointment in two weeks.

34 weeks this week and had a Bio Profile Scan this past Monday as well as NST which went good and another NST tomorrow. Boys are looking good and so happy to have gotten this far despite my irritable uterus and contractions. Both babies have remained head down the whole time say they are planning on a vaginal delivery if all goes smoothly. Feel bad for my boys with all the contractions I have all day long. My meds are just not very effective any longer but believe they have helped me get this far.
Anyone else having lots of contrax? I am now just waiting for my labor to begin and see how long my cervix can hold on. I haven't had any other labor signs and they haven't stressed me to call unless they start getting more intense/painful and the other signs of labor.
have a great week ladies!! You are all doing so well:)

I had my 18.5 week appointment yesterday and all was WONDERFUL!! We found out we're expecting 2 GIRLS!!!! Crazy! My 7 year old son is not too happy-hehe. I went out and bought their first matching outfits afterward. How fun! Both babies weighed 8 oz. and measured 18w 3d. Heart rates were 130 and 146. They are doing good so far! I will return in 3 weeks for my comprehensive ultrasound.

Part 1 is over. Did the GD test. Not the worst thing in the world. The post-sugar crash was intense though! Now (three horus later) I feel fine. Could use a nap, but not for a few more hours.

We met the third (and final) OB, he was pretty awesome. I'm up a total of 31 pounds (at 27w3d), and measuring 37 weeks!!! Yikes!!! He kept saying "bless you!"

In two more hours we have our Level 2... Feeling ok... still a bit nervous.

ALL the time. I was taking procardia until an allergic reaction. Now I take terbutaline as needed. Seems every week after an NST I end up in L&D for them to stop the contractions. The OB thinks my contractions are more self induced than labor because I seem to be super woman sometimes. Plus my cervix remains closed. All a good sign just oh so annoying having all the contractions. I have another u/s tomorrow. That will be great since i Have not had one with my OB since I was 25wks.

36 week ultrasound this morning! All is well--Baby A (girl) is 6 lbs, Baby B (boy) is about 5.25 lbs. This is the first time they've ever measured even a slight difference from each other but the Dr. is not worried because it's not that significant and we're so close to the end anyway.
Cervix remains closed but "softening" so we're on our way! I still hope to hold on for 1-2 more weeks. Let's hope!

The Level 2 was fine. The MFM was not my favorite person ever, but my babies look fine. Ziggy is 2 lb 3 oz, Zuzy is 2 lb 9 oz. No cervical measurements, which is annoying. But I trust my doctors!
