Taking off clothes and diaper

I'm going  My ds will NOT stop taking off his clothes and then his diaper. We haven't tried the duct tape thing because he goes to the extent of ripping the diaper just to get it off and it's driving me NUTS! It doesn't matter if the diaper is clean or dirty.
He does it after naps and when he's alone in the playroom, or heck walking around he will just strip. :headbang:
Right now I'm using onesies like crazy. I put on a onesie then a pair of pants and then another onesie--yes over the pants, it's really attractive  Thankfully he's too distracted outdoors so he tends to keep clothes on then. Jammies are the worst! He can unzip them and the only way is by cutting the feet off and putting them on backwards.
When is this going to end?!?! It's been going on for well over a month and I'm so tired of not catching it in time and him playing with the poop him peeing through the crib
Someone please tell me I don't have to deal with this till he's potty trained because we are no where near that yet. HELP :help:

    Sorry, this cracked me up!

I say, go for the duct tape if he is nowhere near PTing. Then maybe you can get rid of the extra onesie on the outside

Have you tried to PT him? :tomato:

I haven't... He doesn't show any other signs, I try to have them sit on the potty before or after baths and neither one of them have shown any interest. I'm figuring worst case scenerio we'll just deal with it till summer and then I'll just stick him outside with the dogs and he can be as naked as he wants.

I use tape on Alice's diaper. Royce could care less. She's always taking off her clothes (like me, I like to be nekkid still, but at least I'm PT!)

OTOH, she did put on her socks and shoes (on the right feet even but there was a 50/50 chance of that) by herself this morning. All I did was put them in front of where she was throwing a tantrum, and focus on Royce. A few minutes later I realized that she had her socks and shoes on.

You could try what I did... give him permission to run naked all day long at home as long as he uses the little potty that you've placed near where he spends most of his time. Tell him you don't want any poop or pee on your floors or in his bed or anywhere else in the house. He's not to go anywhere except in the potty because that is where poop and pee belongs. Worst case, you have a lot of little messes to clean up and you curse that crazy lady on TS. Best case, you can quit stressing about potty training him.

I know it sounds crazy but it worked for me and for at least one other mom who wrote and thanked me profusely for convincing her to try it. My kids didn't give a rip about candy or being "big boys" or wearing underpants but being allowed to run naked was a huge incentive. And yes, I was able to transition them back to wearing clothes although it took a few days frequent redressing and reminders to get there.
