I was looking for a good book to start reading I am 33 weeks and just wanted to read up a little on what to expect the first years of life starting with birth. I know they have the baby 411 book for singletons, was wondering if they had any other type of book for twins. Any book that anyone could reccomend would be great! Thanks:)

Congrats on making it so far!

I bought and read the book called Juggling Twins, it wasn't a cut and dried "Week 1 ~ expect xxxx" but more of a generalization of how things are going to go, and it was hilarious! It's just a regular mom like us explaining how she found ways to cope with twin babies! It was well worth the read! :)

Mothering Multiples is great, especially if you will be breastfeeding your babies. It also has a lot of great info. on caring for twins.

I read Twinspiration and a book by Ann Douglas (when I get home on my computer, I'll link it) but both of those were really good. I'd recommend any parenting info book by Ann Douglas.

Congrats on getting to 33 weeks!! I read a book called The Art of Parenting Twins: The Unique Joys and Challenges of Raising Twins and Other Multiples, it was a really good book with lots of tips and advice, I still go back to it now. I think it goes all the way up to the teen years.....I haven't gotten to the end yet.

I liked the book "Happiest baby on the block" great in the first 3 months on ways to soothe the baby. Great ways to hold them, wrap them, etc.

Loved love loved Healthy sleep habits happy child -- best book ever for sleep and I think there is a twin version.

What to expect in the toddler years is a good one to look for now.

Ready or not here they go. -- there are some great book suggestions in her book as well.

The BEST BEST feeding book is "Child of mine: feeding with love and good sense" -it starts from baby and up. A wonderful way to look at feeding, weight gain, picky eaters, big eaters, everything.
