The one thing I wish moms of singltons undertood is (blank).

 

...they don't know what twins are like at all, please don't try.

 

.....it is a celebration to have a meal at a restaurant.

is that it's NOT the same or similar if you have 2 close together. you still don't know!

 

Is that just because there are 2 babies who can "play" with each other, doesn't mean it's easier!


HAHA. A friend of mine told me this the other day because she constantly has to "entertain" her 6 mo old... And I don't have to do that x2???? Plus pull them off of each other and console them when they steal the others toy...

 

Thats a good one...guess I should start preparing myself for what triplets are like!

 

gotta agree with the pp that said having 2 children a year or two apart does not mean you know what it's like to have twins (even if you do like to dress them the same).

 

Please be careful when answering this one ladies, because some of us use to be "moms of singletons" before we had twins I'm sure there's some things us moms of singletons could have issues with about twin moms too

 

I wish they understood that comparing my two twin boys to each other - the 'smart' one and the 'funny' one - is like comparing two singleton siblings to each other - not fair to either boy.

 

The one thing I wish moms of singletons understood is, it is not easy for me to get out of the house and go for coffee playdates. If i cancel please understand.
