Fill in the blank game

So I have a lot of thoughts that run through my head over the course of the day that only a mother of twins could relate to and I started to wonder if you all have the same. So I want to start some fill in the blanks sentences to see how you all would finish them.

Before I had twins I (blank) but now I (blank).

 

Before I had twins I took a shower every day but now I smell really bad and am covered with formula (both fresh and um, used).

Before I had twins I got facials, went to the gym, and went out to dinner a lot. : ) BUT NOW I do none of that!

 

Before I had twins I actually had time to myself during the day, but now I get to spend my day watching two little amazing personalities just blossom! :wub:

 

Before I had twins I would get 8 hrs of sleep a night, wake up refreshed and be able to put matching socks on but now I am sleep deprived, and am lucky to have a shower before the day ends.

 

Before having twin I was able to go where I want, when I want, but now my day is planned around their schedule and whether or not a can use the stroller.

Before I had twins, I had a nice, clean couch, but now I have a couch that has more milk on it than a dairy farm....

Before I had twins, I had room to walk freely, but now Fisher Price, Playskool, Duplo, amongst many others, have thrown up all over my house.

Before I had twins(kids), life was rather boring..., but now, my days are filled with so much laughter and smiles, and plenty of hugs and kisses-that I wouldn't trade it for the world!

To say to my boys before bed, "How much do you love mommy?" And to hear them say, "Moon and back!" Trust me ladies-it makes EVERYTHING you are going through right now-worth it. It's such a short period of time-a time I WISH I could get back again and again.... Love those kids up! It's amazing what a difference makes in one year, in two years... They become little people! Funny, amusing, smart little people-all because of YOU! Enjoy!

 

Before I had twins, I thought I was happy with the size of our family, but now I can't imagine my life without them! :wub:

 

Before I had twins I drank one small cup of coffee a day but now I drink a whole pot.

Before I had twins I often wasted time doing nothing of consequence but now almost every minute of my waking day is filled with purposeful activity.

Before I had twins I couldn't imagine life with twins but now I can't imagine my life without twins.

 

Before I had twins, I was able to type on the computer with two hands, now I only have one (if that).

Before I had twins, I got to eat warm meals, now they're lukewarm or cold.

Before I had twins, I was able to walk through a room without going 'ick', 'ick', 'ouch'.

Before I had twins, I only needed to go to the grocery store once a week, now it seems like daily.

Before I had twins, I only needed one set of clean clothes for myself a day.

Before I had twins, I just did laundry on the weekend.

Before I had twins, I had space in my refrigerator.

Before I had twins, I had to use an alarm clock to get up in the morning, now I just use the baby monitor.

 

before i had twins, i used to go on 3-4 week vacations to europe. now i'm lucky if i get a night out per month.

 

Before I had twins... I didn't think I could handle twins.... now, I know I can!!!!!

Before I had twins... I shaved my legs once every 3 or 4 days... now I'm lucky if it's once every two or three weeks

Oh and I really like the alarm clock one... that is SO true... I use both monitors as alarms now

 

before i had twins... other people's kids used to get on my nerves, but now i just smile and think of mine.

 

Before I had twins I had a full time job and got up, got dressed and spoke professionally all day NOW I have 2 full time jobs, stay in my jammies a lot of the time and speak baby-talk!!

 

Before I had twins, I had great hair and well waxed parts. Now, my hair is in a bun all the time and waxing anything is a joke!

Before I had twins, I would linger over my meals, and eat when I felt like it. Now, I eat like a prisoner at their last meal, as fast as I can and anything I can eat with one hand is a plus.

Before I had twins, I had to take a shower every day. Now I consider myself clean enough if I wash my face and remember to brush my teeth.

Before I had twins, I thought I knew what responsibility was because I had two dogs. Now, I GET IT that I had no clue what I was thinking when I said that!

Before I had twins, I was so sad we had so much trouble conceiving. Now, my heart is so full and my life so much richer for having my babies in it!

 

These are hilarious and heartwarming I needed that!

 

Before I had twins I thought things were chaotic with 4 kids running around all the time, now chaos is an understatement.

Before I had twins I never thought about having twins because NO ONE EVER had twins in my family, now everyone is all gaga over them and we can't imagine them not being here.

Before I had twins I thought I could handle pretty much anything EXCEPT twins, now I think even the twins are a piece of cake.

Before I had twins I thought our house was just the right size, now I realize how much STUFF the twins have I'm wondering if I'm right about the size of the place.

 

Before I had twins, I spent 6 years feeling more and more that I would never be a mother (very sad) then I had my 3 year old and thought wouldn't have anymore, OOPS! TWINS!! Life is crazy but a good crazy.

Before I had twins, I was so scared that I wouldn't be able to handle 3 under 3 all by myself, now I know I can do it.

Before I had twins, I thought my first child was hard (you all know the feeling when you have your first and it is all new), now what the h*** was I thinking :laughing:

 

I LOVE all these!!! Here's mine:

Before I had twins I had a designated "Laundry Day", now EVERYDAY is "Laundry Day"

Before I had twins I could catch a nap when dd napped, now all the planets have to align for all three to be sleeping at the same time (and even then I use the time to take a shower )

 

Before I had twins I never thought of my husband and I as a family. Now I feel complete and perfect!!
