weird blinking of the eyes

    one of my LO's was in his jumper this morning and he started closing his eyes very slowly.
    hes doing a very weird blink where when he closes his eyes, he does it slowly and then opens it again. (hope i'm making sense)

    there doesnt seem to be anything in them!

    Hmm, I'm not sure. I haven't noticed anything like that before. Are his eyes red or puffy at all? Does he do it every time?

    no it was very weird. he rubbed his eyes shortly thereafter so i *hope* it was just bc he was tired. he opened them and closed them very slowly a few times.

    Could it be he was just drifting off to sleep, spacing out etc?

    Or maybe just discovering he can control his eyes?

    we all have the flu at our house. DS has had a high fever, and not sleeping well. he has beend doing that spacy blinking too. I just assumed he was sleepy. If you find out differently let me know, cuz' now I'm worrying.
