a friend turned me onto the combi twin sport stroller SBS, it's super lightweight, WAY easy to naviagate, not overly priced very comfortable.

The double stroller we bought is the Baby Trend Snap-n-Go, from Babies R Us. You can snap their infant carriers into it. I have likes and dislikes about it. I like it because it's very universal, just about any carrier will snap into it. And it's easy to "drive" and folds up very compact. But one thing I don't like is when they outgrow the infant carriers, then they outgrow the strollers too. I kinda wish now that we had gotten the carrier/stroller combo (even though we would've had to buy 2) and just use a stroller connector. I'm in the market of buying a front facing double stroller, so I can't wait to see more responses to your question!

We loved our Combi Twin Savvy ( I think it's called the sport now). And I also have a Valco Twin Trimode with toddler attachment for when I had 3 small ones. That is a great stroller as well. I gave the Combi away to a friend but still have the Valco and expect to for a few more years.

we have had quite a few ;)

I hated the double snap and go, the carriers were not in there sturdy enough for my liking

we also have the graco duoglider and although i like the ease of this system we would have been better off to have bought the graco double quattro tour vs the cheaper model the douglider

we also have the valco twin tri mode with the toddler seat attachment and LOVE that one. Although because of the cold we only use it on warmer days so far because the infant seats don't snap in. It is WAYYYYYYYYY HEAVY and I am one who really didn't consider the douglider heavy

I have heard good things about the kolcraft tandem, if we just has 2 (and they had this in canada) i probably would have given this one a definite look!

    Good luck!!!

We have the graco double quattro tour, and we love it, It is heavy and it fills the trunk of the car, but it is wonderful. the carseats just click in. We also have a maclaren twin techno, right now the boys do not like it as much, because they need to wake up from falling asleep in the car, and that is never fun.

I started with the double snap n go for the infant seats, bought it used for half the retail price, and sold it for what I paid for it! :D

Switched to the combi twin SBS after the DSNG and LOVE it! We've been using it since they were 3 months old and it's still going strong. I love that it's lightweight, easy to fold up, doesn't take up a ton of room (for a double stroller), has cup holders and a 5 point harness. The only cons I have is the basket is small, so I just removed it completely, and the canopies are too small, I just bought the canopy extension kit from babiesrus, it covers them completely in the summer! It also doesn't have a parent tray but most SBS's don't, so I bought a kit from babiesrus as well.

For the most part people who bought tandem's were not happy, although some of them were :)

We have a doouble snap n' go and I love it!!! We just took it on a super overcrowded skytrain to downtown Vancouver for the Olympics and it was fabulous. Folded up to nothing and the girls were safe in their car seats for the trip.

I like the tandem because when walking on city streets you aren't taking up the whole sidewalk. We bought ours used and have Evenflo carseats which click in nice and sturdy.

For the next stage, we bought a used Combi twin and have used it a few times around the neighbourhood for walks. Nice and lightweight. Also one of the narrower strollers, as far as side by sides go.

I love my bumbleride indie twin, it is small (fits through a single doorway), light to push (i can steer/push with 1 hand) and it is cozy for when they were younger. It is heavy but about the weight of most other strollers. I keep it in the back of our van (it could fit in the car but I can't fit 3 car seats in there so I never take the babies in the car). If you are looking for a certain double stroller, I suggest you join the yahoo group "strollerswap" and they often post websites where you can find bargains on different strollers. I have the BOB double jogger also but we haven't used it yet because the babies were too small (it is better for when they are sitting) and then winter happened and we had to hibernate.

Glad to hear it! I just ordered the Bumbleride Indie Twin and am looking forward to trying it out.

We also have a Peg Perego Duette which I love too because it maneuvers easily and is better for navigating sidewalks downtown. I also like that the carseats snap into the chassis making transitions from car to sidewalk very simple. I still haven't used the actual stroller seats yet because the carseats are just cozier and higher up so I can keep an eye on the girls.

I will warn you about 2 things. 1. There are no real cup holders, I use the zipper pouches on the back to carry a water bottle for me. 2. Everything is an accessory and the only accessory you may need is the snack holder. I am still trying to decide if I want to order 2 of them or not.

My Peg Perego doesn't have a cup holder either so I bought one that attaches to a variety of strollers. I actually don't end up using it that often because I tend to hit it when going through doorways. My diaper bag attaches to my current stroller and I put my water bottle in one of the outside pockets. As for these snack holders, I was thinking of getting a couple of those later on. I was also a little annoyed to discover that the 2009 model doesn't come standard with bumper bars.

    ORDER THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST BEST BEST BEST STROLLER EVER!!!

Lightweight. Easy to maneuver and cheap! Here it is on closeout. You'll love it.

I started using this right away cuz I never used infant carriers w/ my twins. I used convertibles immediately cuz I was always going places alone and those seats were too heavy. Never had a snap and go.

I ordered this exact one last week, even tho my boys are 28 months old LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL and I already have this SAME stroller in red in my car!

I can't help it. THAT is how much I LOVE IT! And my red one does NOT have the snack/cup tray on front! How cool is tHAT!

Here you go, it's on CLOSEOUT so hurry! Someone else on TS just posted this so I havet o thank her. LOL.

Here it is. Mine shipped on Saturday and i cannot wait to get it!! YAY!!

Again, CANNOT say enough about how easy and ligh it is. It is SOO easy to do by MYSELF which is key since I'm always taking the twins out ALONE and I do it every single day!

We had the snap & go and I liked it for when they were smaller. Now that they are getting bigger we got a Baby Jogger City Elite. Its pretty expensive but we asked our parents to chip in for it as a Christmas present to the kids. We used it on Saturday and it is sooooo smooth. Its pretty big and kinda heavy but my DH is 6'5" and the handle adjusts so he doesn't have to hunch to push it.

I love my Kolcraft Contours stroller!! :yahoo: :yahoo: I bought the Double Snap n Go when I was pregnant and I used it for the first 6 months or so, but my boys hated their carseats! Soo... we had to get something else.

You can position the seats to face you, face each other, or to face forward. The canopies are really big and block the sun well. Both seats recline and there are footrests on both. The storage basket is huge too! And if I go to the store and only have one little guy with me (woohoo lucky me!) I can just use one seat and put my things in the basket if I'm not buying a lot. I always get compliments when we're out. I love the way it drives and the wheels are really big so I can use it outside just fine. It is heavy but its a decked-out double stroller that is worth its weight in gold! And anyway, after lugging around two squirming babies it would be a breeze right to lift, right? lol

I saw the Graco Duoglider and Double Quattro Tour at Burlington but I wasn't impressed. I thought the Kolcraft was made better and the fabric was nicer also. I loved my Quattro Tour with my daughter, but I didn't like their double. I wouldn't trade my Kolcraft for anything in this world! I love it!

I bought a snap n go after reading many great stories about it. We r still waiting for the arrival of our twins. My husband just couldn't accept the fact that the babies will have to stay put in thier car seats all the time. He insists we should buy a real stroller. So we went to Bergstrom, saw this amazing stroller, Baby Jogger City Select. Came home, read tons of reviews, parents have only good things to say about it. Almost everywhere I looked, the waiting period is about two months. It is costly in my opinion (I wanted to go for the combi double), but my husband thinks that it is a good investment.
Anybody has experience with this stroller? Is it worth the money?

    Strollers! UGH!!!
When I was pregnant I had no idea how many strollers there were or how different they could acutally be.

We started with the Graco Duoglider. It was fine before they grew out of the car seats. When we started putting them in the regular seats I became dissatisfied very quickly. I always had trouble with the canopy on the front seat. It would always get messed up in the "track" and I'd have to take it off and spend 5-10 minutes trying to get it fixed. I also found the straps to be a source of irritation. The closures have a small piece on the part that clicks into the opposite side that breaks easily - then it becomes more difficult to close. I also found that connecting the shoulder strap to the lap strap was time consuming and frustrating. Takes a long time with a squirmy baby, and a sleeping baby doesn't like all the fussing. My son was also able to push the button to undo the strap at 9 months. And if all that wasn't enough... the one in back was always kicking or pulling the hair of the one in front. The one in back was also fussing because they couldn't see. The stroller was perfect for us at the beginning but we did outgrow it. Wish I'd gotten a Snap and Go for less $ with the plan of upgrading.

I didn't want to buy an expensive stroller so we tried using a stroller connector to hook together a couple Graco umbrella style strollers. DOUBLE UGH! It was find going straight on an even surface. Get on a slightly uneven surface and POP! Strollers disconnected. This set up never made it past our around the neighborhood test.

After reading posts on this forum and visiting USA baby to try out their strollers we decided on a BOB. They let us take it to the car to make sure it fit. I feel bad that we didn't buy it from them, but we couldn't take it home with the other stroller in the car. I didn't want to go all the way back so I ordered it from diapers.com and got it the next day (WOW!). This stroler has changed my life... Sounds a little extreme but it's true. I didn't go out much because taking the kids in the stroller just didn't work out. Now I go out 3-4 times a week walking with them. They love the stroller too. We go around nap time and they just relax and take a snooze while I exercise. I don't find it any more of a hassle getting in/out of the car (RAV4) than the Duoglider. It's a dream to push. I love the way the straps close. It takes me 1/3 of the time to get it out, set it up, and strap the kids in. Currently, it is my most prized posession.
