When I had infant twins and a barely two year old, I learned that I didn't need to pack as much as I THOUGHT I did, KWIM? I did keep a fully stocked backpack in my car - changes of clothes for all the children, along with enough diapers, wipes, formula (even though I breastfed......) and food to keep us going for weeks. :rotflmbo:
I found that smaller and simpler really was better because when you're already toting three babies, it's next to impossible to haul all the gear, as well! I had a normal sized Land's End diaper bag that worked marvelously. I took just a few diapers, wipes, snacks and small changes of clothes for the babies (like just a onesie in summer and thin one piece outfit in winter). If I had a huge emergency I had that fully stocked bag in the car but, ya know, I don't think I even used that 'emergency' bag more than once or twice! And those times were just because I had forgotten to stock my regular diaper bag!
So, I guess I'm saying to get what you like, and what you already know you use. Chances are, it will work just fine! :)

I had the Skip Hop Duo Double diaper bag and loved it. I actaully just down sized to the Duo now that my boys are 2. The Duo Double has tons of room and the best part was the strap fits on sbs strollers.

I have/had the Ju Ju Be Packabe and I loved it. It was perfect for 3 kids and all of their stuff.

I totally agree with Allison. The only diaper bags I used were the free ones I got from the hospital when I had my kids. I had extra supplies in the car and actually just used those to stock my diaper bag when we went out. All I kept in my diaper bag were 6 diapers (two per baby), a package of wipes, a very thin blanket (to put on icky public changing tables), and one change of clothes for the babies (not one each - just one. The chance both babies and my 16 month old had a blow out were slim and I did have all kinds of extras in the car). I also kept a bib for my toddler in there, and a cup of cheerios for her, just in case. As the twins got older I was able to add sippy cups and bibs for them as well.

For me, the free ones worked great. We went out all the time and those diaper bags worked great.

I'd say, if you have a bag that is working well for your singleton, chances are it'll work just fine for all three.

    Congrats on your twins!

I use a regular skip hop for the twins and if I need to take anything for my three year old then we use the loom weekender bag for all three. There is lots of room and it works well. I had bought a ju ju be beprepared and it was a complete waste of my money because I don't need a bag that big everyday and it is kinda akward.

Regarding your question about a co-sleeper big enough for twins, my girls are still in the Arm's Reach Original co-sleeper and are about 5 months old. They are approaching the weight limit of 30lbs though so I am going to have to VERY reluctantly transition them to a crib soon. I love my co-sleeper soooo much!!!

Same here! I got it when they were having one of those 20% off and free shipping sales, which they seem to have fairly regularly (if you are on their mailing list). So it was only $32 instead of $40, and it is perfect for our twins!

When the twins were really small, and I used the snap n go, I used my regular backpack diaper bag for all 3 kids. Once we moved the twins to the combi SBS stroller, I used a regular messenger school bag from walmart. Perfect size plus it hung on my stroller handle. Then I found a skip hop spark on sale for $15, and started using it. Was perfect for the time and also hung on the stroller handle.

Now that we need to bring toys with us, things were starting to fall out of the spark (and my oldest dd is potty training so I have to bring a change of clothes just in case of accident.) I went back to a backpack (I bought a regular school backpack) and it's perfect! Just enough pockets, the outside pockets for 2 sippy cups, easy to carry, but most importantly, it zips closed so things don't fall out! :D

I never spend more than $25 on a bag and I've been happy with all the ones I had, for various reason!

The Arm's Reach Co-sleeper is awesome! I got mine used off of CraigsList. We are still using it as a PNP.

For diaper bags I like our free hospital ones. We use those for quick outings, church, etc. I like our Skip Hop Double Duo for longer outings since it fits on the back of the double strollers. I'm expecting #3 this fall and will just stick with the diaper bags we have. I'll probably use a small diaper bag for the singleton and the double duo for the twins.

I really wanted one of those pricey Ju Ju Be's but couldn't afford it. I have to say that my nice Eastport backpack is working GREAT for my three kids! There are so many nice and comfy backpacks out there that are not pricey and will work well.
