I am 28 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I never thought I would be able to tell which baby was moving because there are two of them. But I knwo that baby A has always been on the right side and baby b has always been on the left and for the past 5 weeks they have both been head down. After reading on this site and other moms being able to tell which baby is moving makes me wonder if i am only feeling baby a. i always feel movement on my right side of my body and at the top where my ribs are and at the bottom but not much on the left side. it has been like this for weeks now. i didnt think it was abig deal. but is it a big deal? should i be telling me doctor about this? they never said anything to me about not having good movement when i go get my ultra sounds they always say theyare moving good.

My Baby A was on my right side, lower, and Baby B was high on my left side. I ALWAYS felt Baby B, and he was a kicker!! Baby A, I only felt a couple times while pregnant. I asked my dr and they just said that it was because of the positioning. Not to worry.

On a funny note, we actually changed our boys names because we thought that the active one sounded more like a Grayson, and not a Landon. It messed up the whole flow when I say all three names in order, but the names definitely fit them!

    Enjoy all the movements!! :D

I'm 24w3d and was wondering the same thing! I only feel movement down low in my pelvic area and up above my belly button on the right side. I know B is on the left & head down, and A is on the R head up. It feels like I'm only feeling A's head and feet though.....

When is your next u/s? I have one next week and am going to watch B carefully to see if, when she moves on the u/s, I can feel her movements too.

I'm 23w1d right now and have always been able to feel baby a way down low and baby b up higher on my right side. However the last couple of days I've only felt midline movement. Right around my belly button. This morning at my ultrasound we found out why. One baby was vertex and the other was breech but now they are both transverse with their heads together on my right side and their little butts together on my left side. So all that movement in the middle is both of them punching away.

Sometimes they move and wiggle around in there. So you could be feeling them both. To this point I haven't been able to tell the difference 100% between which one is kicking.

I'm always fascinated by how women are actually able to tell for certain if the kicks are coming from baby a or b.

Last two u/s baby A was lower and baby B was higher. So the only thing I do know is when I feel kicks right above my cervix it's probably baby A and the head (or butt) I'm feeling up in my right ribcage is probably baby b. The rest of the kicks (which are mainly on the right side of my belly) are a mystery in regards which one is kicking at any given moment. I have no way of distinguishing between the two of them. At least not yet.

Yeah I know exactly what you are saying but from reading the other posts, I think its ok. I am going to ask my doc on friday when I go back. I go back on friday to have U/S. I just started going every two weeks now after my last appt. which was every 4. are you girls identical? are you going to breast feed?

Have a look through my posts...I posted the exact same thing a few weeks ago!

Like you, I always feel A more than B. I worry less about it now, but I still wish B was as active as A!

I could tell the difference in the babies' movements until I reached about 26-28 weeks...then there was just not very much room in there!! They were both head down, but Baby B was on top of Baby A and all their feet were in the same general area...Baby B's bum was usually sticking way out - and gave me some real nasty strech marks!!! LOL!! I could feel Baby B more because of the way he was positioned...but then after awhile I couldn't distinguish anymore. One thing that helped me was to watch when I got an ultrasound - when I felt a movement I would ask the tech which baby it was - that helped me to distinguish a little better, and realize that they were both moving just fine.

I am sure if you mention to the doctor or tech that you are concerned, they will help you out!

Hope things continue to go well for you!

My A was breech & B was transverse. I could feel A continually wheras B was every now and again. DH chalked it up to a lazy baby & an active baby. Well, he was right, ish. My baby B is extremely active. Rolled before his brother, can exercauce for longer, is better at sitting up, is/was a beter nurser.... My big baby A who kicked the crap out of my cervix is lazy, LOL.

I think B was kicking my internal organs so I couldn't feel him in the same way.

Visit us in the breastfeeding forum for questions- we'll be happy to assist (I'm feeding both right now-an iPod touch is great!)

    Good luck!

Good luck at your u/s tomorrow! My babies are likely fraternal, as they are di-di, but I suppose we won't know for sure until they are born. :)

Update- I went to the doctor on Friday and the amniotic fluid on baby b HAS gone down some and is closer to the normal range but it is still hih. Baby A's fluid is normal. They are monitoring me every two weeks to check on the fluid. I asked him about TTTS and he said that he does not think that as of now because Baby A is normal and they are both close in weight. So I go back next friday 2/26 to check on growth and fluid levels again. I asked if I needed to be monitored more than that and he said no because it takes a coupld weeks for TTTS to develop and even more than that before it gets worse! So makes me worry more --but I am hoping for a healthy report next friday when we go again.

Thank you for everyone on your responses!
