    i generally put our LO's down between 730 - 830 every night.
in your experiences, if you put your LO's down earlier, do they wake up earlier?

Never, not even once. The rule is: sleep begets sleep. Generally, babies sleep between 12-14 hours during the night. Mine sleep 13.

We go down by 7 at latest and they are up by 6-6:30. If I can get them down by 6:15/6:30 latest asleep, they sleep until 7 or 7:30! Believe me - I try hard every night. :)

i put mine down at 6:30-7pm and they are still asleep when i wake them at 5:30 to start the day. i do think it affects the duration and quaity of naps though. IF they nap at all for the first nap at 8:30 it's usually only 30-45min even though i give them until 10am. the afternoon nap is 1:30-3pm and they don't always take that either.

The more they sleep, the better they sleep. Good naps also helps with a good night sleep.

Depends. When they were smaller and dropped the third catnap they had to go to bed at 5:30pm and then they would get up at 5am. Instead of the 7pm-7am ish wake. But as they got older they started stretching it out on both ends. Now that they are older most of the time if I get them down earlier they still sleep until the same time every morning. But not always. :pardon:

We used to wait til the babies last feed around 10 to 10:30 and then have bed after, we just started a new routine with bottle and bedtime at 8:30 about a week ago and I am happy to say that they are still sleeping roughly til about the same time as they used to (about 9:30 ish) although their a.m. waking started to be at 4 vs 6 but this morning they waited til 6 so they may be getting used to it. So they may surprise you.

Our bubbers are down by 6 and up at 6. Nap #1 at 9 for 1.5 hours and Nap #2 at 1 for 2 hours, Nap #3 (do not always take one) at 4ish for 20 minutes. They sleep through the night with a dream feed at 10ish. They are on 3 solid meals a day and they are 8 months old this week.
