My girls have reached every milestone so far within days of each other. It's been wild! I just wondered if this was normal with ID twins, or if my two were different from the norm.

Our boys didn't hit their milestones at the same time. It was usually a two week delay and really we never knew who would hit it first. Usually it was Reese, but Riley walked first and talked first.

Same with my girls. It was never at the same time and random as far as who was first.

My boys take turns hitting their milestones, too. It's never at the same time and it's never the same boy...

My boys are only 2 mnths old, but I have already noticed that Nathaniel is ahead in the milestones compared to William. I was getting worried, this post makes me feel better.

All of our milestones have been within days too. I swear they watch each other and try to beat the other one!

Sometimes our milestones were within months of each other. And like PP said, different boys hit each one first. Even teeth were weeks apart.

Guess it really varies. My girls, despite being a pound apart at birth and staying that way, hit all their milestones together. They were so close I can't tell who did what first. It was as if they hit milestones within hours of each other. Rolling, sitting up, teeth, walking, everything. It's actually one of the reasons I paid for the DNA test and found out they are identical! Way too similar to be fraternal, although I think I have the least identical looking MZ twins.

My girls aren't identical but have hit milestones within days or at most a couple of weeks of each other. Vivian is slightly ahead of her sister in the neck strength/rolling over/sitting up department but that is not too surprising considering Ava has torticollis. Vivian also started "talking" a bit sooner but Ava was not far behind.

Kenneth was born a minute before Ian, but Ian has reached milestones almost consistantly, first. Ian was standing and walking along the furniture before Kenneth was sitting up on his own. Ian crawled early, but Kenneth inch wormed around, skipped crawling all together, and then stood. At 9 months, they are both walking from furniture to furniture holding on.
