Picking up the mini van today...

We are picking up our mini van today it has 2 bucket seats in the 2nd row and a bench seat in the 3rd row...

I'm wondering what car seat configuration I should do since I have the 2 still in infant seats and 1 in a booster seat?

I was thinking maybe I should put one of the babies and the booster in the 3rd row and one of the babies in one of the 2nd row bucket seats (and remove the other bucket seat totally so I can get back to the 3rd row and in and out easily)...

What do you think?

 

I have the twins in the very back and my older one who is in a booster in one of the captain chairs with one chair out. Yes I have to get into the van to put kids in but I have to anyway. I just like it that way for now.

 

Don't have a minivan but we have the twins in the middle seats and my older child in the back - she is able to climb into her chair by herself while I strap the boys in. I can reach older DD straps from the outside though.

 

My boys are in the captain seats, and my daughter is in the third row.

 

Marlena - no advice but wanted to say how exciting to be getting a minivan! :banana:

 

Our twins are in the back in their buckets, our 19.5 month old is in the 2nd row captains in her carseat and we stow the other captains seat when our 11 yo isn't with us.

 

Same here when mine were little. Now we vary it. But usually one in the back and 2 in the captains chairs. Enjoy your van.

 

One twin is in one of the captains chairs, the other captains chair is folded up/forward (so we can use it if we have another passenger) and the other twin and toddler is in the 3rd row.
