My babies seem to be doing fine since the TTTS surgery. I’ve been getting weekly ultrasounds since then. At the last one the twin that was the recipient was actually estimated to be an ounce bigger than the donor. They both also started kicking a lot more than they used to about two days after the surgery! The day after the surgery the Dr said she wasn't sure if the membrane between them got a hole in it, but things seem to be doing well.

P.S. to WaterGuzzler- I kept trying to send you a PM but my browser crashed every time. Thanks for the e-mail. :)

Congrats! Thats great news! We're hoping our little ones start closing the gap before surgery becomes necessary. Its great to hear of somebody that has had the surgery though. I hope things keep going good with you! :D

Congratulations! So happy to hear all is well. I didn't have TTTS with my twins however we dealt with with fairly severe IUGR with my twin B throughout the pregnancy. I know how stressful the mono/di He is making up for his lack of food in utero and growing like a weed!

    Best of luck to you!

So happy to hear that your surgery went well! I had the surgery at 20 weeks and ever since then I swear they have never stopped moving! And we've had a very good result - I mean you'll have lots of extra dr.'s appointments but it's kind of nice to be monitored closely after such a crazy time......there is hope I will be 34 weeks on tuesday and everything has been awesome. But wanted to wish you the best of luck!

Thanks for all the well wishes! I'm definitely all for being monitored closely, I was a worrier even before the TTTS thing.

I still feel them moving a lot, though, and everything seems fine now. :)
