Feeling one twin more than the other?

I've always felt twin A (girl) far more than twin B (boy), but sometimes the difference is really striking. I feel her at least 4-5x/hour, whereas I sometimes only feel him a few times/day! I have a doppler, and routinely need to pull it out to check on him. He's always been quiet at our ultrasounds as well, so I guess it's just his personality.

Anyone else feel one more than the other?

 

I felt my baby b much less then baby a and it was due to her positioning. She was lodged under my ribs and had her brother smushing her up there and so the movements were less then her brothers. I, too, had a doppler I used to reassure myself. Call your doctor if you ever have any concerns. :hug:

 

I thought I was mainly feeling one twin more than the other, until one ultrasound where I realized the twin on the right had her feet stretched over to the left side. Basically they were both kicking me only on the left for awhile.

 

I felt baby A much more than baby B. They told me Baby B's placenta was in front so that was why I did not feel him as much.

I feel baby A all the time, all day long, but Baby B only a few times a day. I'm 35 wks now and they have been doing great on the stress tests and ultrasounds. These have made me feel better about me not feeling her as much. I think its fairly common. However, trust your insticts and if you ever feel something isn't right, then go get it checked out.

I always felt baby B (my son) more than baby A (my daughter). He was soooo much more active, and bigger than his sister....and still is

 

Like above, but opposite...I always felt my Baby A (daughter) alot more than Baby B (son). She's still SOO much more active than he is. He is bigger (and was at birth), but somehow, she's always moved more. We thought in the womb, maybe she had more room to move?

I don't think it's anything to worry about, but never hurts to get checked!

 

I'm another one - I always felt my B baby more than A - I would actually PUSH on his head to get him to push back to 'check' on him at times. He was breech with his back to the outside so all his kicks/punches went backwards and I didn't feel them as much.

 

You should not worry about it at all! My Baby B was very active. Even during the ultrasounds we would watch as she would push around her sister. We were so sure that she was going to be a feisty little girl and it turned out to be the other way around! Good luck with your babies!!!!...and welcome to the Elite Club of Mothers of Multiples!!

I experienced the exact same thing. I'd feel one all the time and towards the end I'd feel the other just a few times a day, some it was only hiccups for the day! Just mention it to the doctor each time just to be sure.

 

My daughter was so much more active than her brother. She is now my calm baby. Her brother moved once a day or so. Just enough to keep me from freaking out! Now he's everywhere and into everything.
