I just found this site and love all the great info everyone provides!! I have 2 questions about things I have seen on here.
    1) We have a 2 year old already so we have a infant carseat carrier that is a Graco Snugride and was going to borrow a friend's Graco Snugride since I have a lot of bases for that carseat. However, this carrier only goes to 20 pounds and there are other brands and carriers that allow for 32-35 pounds. The thought of carrying two 30 pound babies in carriers makes my arms hurt, but I am thinking they would be more managable in the carrier as opposed to getting them out of the bigger carseats. Does anyone have any advice on this?
    2) I hope to breastfeed my twins as long as possible and have seen on here that a lot of people suggest the EZ to nurse twins pillow. I have a boppy pillow that I wasn't too fond of using for my 1st one as I just found a pillow easier. I would like to tandem nurse as often as possible to save time, has anyone tried a boppy pillow with twins? I just don't want to spend a lot of money on something I won't use but then again if it makes breastfeeding easier, it is worth it! Thanks in advance for your advice!!

    1) my girls are in the carriers now and while they are getting awfully heavy, I like being able to just snap them in and out of the bases and right in to the snap n go. Keep in mind that 20 pounds is pretty big. My 2 year old is only 28 pounds now and I couldn't IMAGINE trying to haul him in and out in a seat. I think you'll be just fine with the seats you have. I wouldn't buy different ones.

    2) The boppy was too small for me. The ez2nurse was awesome and i would consider a MUST. Besides, you can easily sell it on craigslist and make at least some of your money back. tandem nursing is a bit of an art...you probably don't need to add in fiddling with pillows to the mix.

Yeah that! We used ours from day one to 13 months later. We LOVED it!

I would stick with the Snugride - 30 lbs. of baby plus the 8 lbs of the carrier times two - no thanks!! I am using my Snugride and a friend's as well (we had our first babies at the same time and have matching seats - is that lucky or what?).

I have had friends who have moved their kids to a convertible seat once they surpass 20 lbs., but keep the bucket in their trunk to use at the grocery store, etc. - that's a thought if you want to keep their mitts off the dirty shopping carts ... it obviously does not eliminate the hassle of getting them in and out of big carseats, though.

I used to use the Boppy to nurse both in the car & hated it. I used the pillows in the hospital & found that it was not helpful for me. It felt like I was balancing both babies like Jenga on top of shifting sand. Now, the EZ 2 Nurse pillow is much different- I find it to be more adjustable and actually holds both babies to you. It goes everywhere I go and I love it.

    I highly recommend it.

    Good luck!

I would stick with the snugrides that you have, and then get good convertible car seats that last a long time. My almost-four year old just outgrew our convertible car seats due to his height (40 inches) even though he weights way less than the 40 lb limit. I know many convertibles have higher height and weight limits, and I wish I had bought those because he is still too little for a regular booster so we had to buy convertible boosters. For us, the snugride lasted until almost a year, and we had a large baby, so I think you will get good use out of it.

I actually got min on craigslist, but I think that was a fluke. You have to order online...google it and the site should come up...
