I kept them on until they were out of cribs. Great paci traps!

My girls were rolling when I put them in their crib at 4 months and I removed the bumpers before I put them in it (they were good decoration!). I put on breathable bumpers because their legs and arms were getting stuck between the slats.

I don't plan to remove them ever. They help keep pacis in.

I don't plan to ever remove ours either, not to keep pacis in, but because both of our boys love to scoot in their sleep until their head is rammed up against the side of the crib. The breathable bumpers don't look very cushiony to me, which I guess is the point if they want them "breathable", so I'll just stick with our traditional padded bumpers until the boys graduate out of their cribs.

I also use mine. I put them in at 4 months once they became very mobile in the crib and would wake up crying because their legs would get stuck in the bars. I plan to use them as long as I am using cribs.

do you have to remove the breathable bumpers to remove the mattress from the crib when changing the sheet?

Nope. They slide up and down the rails very easily. I have to slide them back up after I throw the mattress back in, but it takes about 25 seconds.

    Me too.

I also don't remove them to change sheets, just slide the mattress out and back in with the bumper pads still attached to the rails! It takes practice, but it can be done! :D

Not until we went to toddler beds.

I took them out when they started pulling themselves up in the crib. I actually wrapped them around the top of the crib rails since I had a monkey who would pull up and then fall. We had mini cribs so they kept hitting their heads. I did have a lot of missing paci problems though after that!

We also kept them in until the girls switched to toddler beds.

We switched from the fancy, cute bumper to the breathable one as soon as they could roll. Now we will leave the breathable one on until they switch to toddler beds.
