Update, ultrasound today

The ultrasound was kind of lame because they tech wouldn't really tell us what we were looking at, she was all business getting measurements. We did get a few good shots of the baby's face unlike last time though so that was cool. The Dr. said that everything looks perfect with him, he is measuring normally for my dates and is estimated to be at about 5lb 12oz and my amniotic fluid levels are normal. He is definitely a boy! They think the reason I was measuring the 4 weeks ahead was because of his position, he is head down all curled up with his little butt sticking out up above my belly button. It was a long day, 7 hour ferry ride round trip plus a couple hours of driving. I have to go back on the 4th for another prenatal appt. and then I go in to wait for the c-section on the 10th. I had a new Dr. today, he was really cool, way more thorough than any of the others and very down to earth.

so you have to get a hotel room on the 10th or are they going to put you in the hospital?

 

Thankfully my little sister lives there so I will stay at her house until the day of the c-section. That has made it really nice for appointments as well because she lets me use her vehicle while I'm in town.

 

Sheesh thats a lot of travel! I sure hope you were able to sit down for the majority of that
