    Holey Moley.

We have had ISSUES with early wakeups for over a year now. They slept from 6 p 6:30 am from 3 and 1/2 months til the week they turned one and then started waking up WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy to early!

This past 6 months we've been getting up anywhere between 4 am and 5:10 am! STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

So... I had heard soo much about this GoodNite Lite that has a moon light when it's sleep time and a sun come up (bright yellow) when it's time to wake up.

OMG, you guys! THEY GET IT AND IT WORKS!

I set wakeup time for six am and tell them they have to go back to sleep IF (ya right) they wake up before six, and they can only get up when they see the sun.. Lo and behold.. Sleeping til like 7 AM!

They LOVE IT! They go and see if the moon is on (set for 7 pm) so they know when to go to bed etc.

    Very nice.

Just thought I'd help someone out, if I can.

FWIW: it says it's good for a 3 yr old and up but mine are 27 months and they're boys (lol).

Here it is: Obviously, we bought TWO cuz they each have their own room and this is the best deal I could find.

Just read, it was just featured on the show "The Doctors". WOO!

Update: the sun is set to come on at six am and Gabe just called for me at SIX O TWO!

LOL! Nicolas is still asleep and it's six thirty!

He was soooo proud of himself that he "waited for the sun!"

LOVE IT! My goal is to eventually have it come on at seven. So they'd do seven p to seven a.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering what age it was recommended for. Looks like we need to wait a bit. I totally want to try it though when they get closer to 3. Glad it is working well in your house!!

momofb/gtwins: mine just turned two so they're younger than yours. It works for them!

It took one day and we're on the road to sleeping in...... Woooo Hooo!

I have other moms whose 2 yr old use it too. I didn't think mine were "smart enough" yet LOL but they are!

You give me hope! My boys are getting "The Tot Clock" for Christmas & I was worried they'd be too young to understand the concept. Now you give me hope that I might get to sleep a little later soon! They've pushed their wake to 6-6:30 lately, but there are still mornings that they're up around 5am. We usually just go in, remind them it's still bedtime, cover them up & walk out. 99% of the time, they go back to sleep. The other times they play quietly, but I rarely fall back to sleep after that b/c I can hear them.

Now I'm even more excited to get their Tot Clock all set up! Hope we have success like you!

My brother had just been asking me what he could get us for Xmas. I sent him the link. If I could get my girls just to sleep til 7 am that would be so awesome!

OMGOSH Guys! It WILL happen! The thing is a miracle! i still get up at five but I want to, I just don't want THEM to get up at five! They drive me crazy! LOL.

I'm thrilled that you guys are getting this!

Keep us all posted on how it goes.

I've only set ours to six AM and will begin pushing it fifteen minutes as soon as they get over THIS cold!

Yeah my big problem is getting them to go to sleep at night. They cry and scream and protest every night and have wound up going to bed as late as 9:30 or 10 some nights. So maybe if I set the moon to come out at 7:15 that would help to minimize the whining.

We got "The Tot Clock" yesterday & initiated it last night. The boys go to bed at 7:30 & usually babble, sing, talk, whatever in their beds. So, we set the light to come on at 8pm (which is typically when we go in & tell them to be quiet and go to bed if they haven't already). Wake up time for us varies from 6-7, so we set the clock to 6am today. Conner was up at 5:55 & when I went in, I told him he couldn't get up til the clock turned yellow. 5 mins later, I heard "It's yellow, Mama" over the monitor :)! We've already set tomorrow for 6:15. We also used it at nap today (the Tot Clock has a nap function, along with discipline & encouragement timers). Naps vary from 1 1/2 hrs to 3 hrs, but since they had a big day yesterday (we did Christmas as a family & with my in laws b/c I work Christmas Day), I wanted them to nap at least 2 hrs. So, I set it to 2 hrs & we reinforced waiting for the clock to turn yellow. Conner woke a little over an hour in & was whining, but when DH reminded him the clock wasn't yellow, he went back to sleep & slept a total of 2 1/2 hrs.

I tell ya, if this clock solves some of our sleeping issues....I'm gonna kick myself for not getting it sooner!

Seriously, I'm surprised many more people aren't on to this product!

We got it on Friday and started using it that night! :good: :good: :good: :good: GREAT stuff! They have been staying in bed until 7:05 (I added five for me! :D) with no problems!! with the clock, they were having problems because they didn't always get that if it's 705 that 700 passed, ya know? Either way, it works great!

    :thanks:

I've had one for over a year now. I did not help my boys sleep later but I does keep them in their beds until 6:15. Their internal clock seems to go off at 5:45. I've tried to push the light to go off at 6:30 and it failed miserably. But, this is truly one of the best purchases I've made.

We have the one that turns green. They are calling for us at precisely the moment it turns green and no earlier. We're wondering if they can be so restrained Christmas morning.

Mine are doing GREAT with our new "Tot Clock". They love to wait for the clock to turn 'yellow'. We're having some glitches with it, so it hasn't turned yellow every morning. Today was one of those mornings & when my husband went in to check on them at 6:45 (it was supposed to go off at 6:30), the boys told him to get out & not come back til they said the clock was yellow :)!

Ours also has a nap time function & it's been GREAT! Aiden woke an hour into his nap yesterday & we heard him mutter that his clock wasn't yellow, so he went back to sleep for another hour & a half! WOOHOO!

We love it...glad I saw the link to it on here! THANKS!

ok, you talked me into it (DS always wakes up between 530-545am, and although I dont expect him to sleep until 630am, I would LOVE it if he would at least not cry until 630am!). I will let you know how it goes!

i was just telling dh about this last week! i didn't know the name of it (or where i'd heard about it) but i knew it sounded good. thanks for the details, ivfbound!

i'm assuming it has a cord--is that a problem w/your little ones? don't they try to touch it? just wondering. maybe that's why it says "age 3 and up." i know it will be an issue w/us.

    thanks a bunch!
