We saw Yo Gabba Gabba live! on Saturday

My parents and I took the girls to see YGG live on Saturday afternoon here in a suburb of Dallas TX. It was AWESEOME!!! seriously! it was a great show, even my stepfather agreed... lol. all of the gang was there, including DJ lance rock. they did the super music friend show, and i THINK it was solange... not sure though, didn't recognize her. but the dancey dance was erykah badu. she did the peanut butter stomp... lol. and then when it came time for biz's beat of the day, he was on the screen getting ready to do it, then starting saying that he wished he could be there with us. well next thing you know, there comes biz markie walking out onto the stage to do his beats. everybody really loved that! he even went out into the audience and had little kids try to copy his beats, it was sooooo hilarious and precious! then all of the YGG characters came out into the audience but were all in different areas. muno and foofa came around our area, and i was holding elena when i saw foofa coming so we ran over and touched foofa and then she turned around and looked at us. whoooh, lol, we got looked at by foofa! the finale of the show was 'there's a party in my tummy' and it was great cuz it had all the huge pieces of cheese and juice and all for the characters to pretend to eat, but then there were big slices of cheese, juice that were people in those costumes dancing around. then the carrots and greenbeans were crying cuz they wanted to go to the party in his tummy, and they had costumed people of carrots and greenbeans who were sad at first but then joined in on the party. what a great show... it really was a party!

 

oh, how cute! My twins love this show. Maybe we'll get to see it someday. Thanks for the review.

 

Awesome! You guys were so lucky to be able to go. I keep hoping that they will come to Philly someday, both of my kids love that show and probably would faint in sheer joy seeing the characters in person!

 

thank you SO much for posting this! we're taking the kids up to chicago this sunday to see it. it will be a whirlwind trip, but i think the kids are going to have such a blast.

i will seriously crack up to see biz markie. i actually remember his one hit wonder back around 1990.

 

I'm glad you had a great time and thought the show was so good. Did you see it at American Airlines center? I would love to take the girls to something like that. But they don't every watch TV so they wouldn't have a clue who the people were.

 

actually they were at the dr pepper stars center in frisco. i think i had more fun than they did... lol.

 

Erykah Badu? Awesome. I want to go see YGG live. We saw Dora back in August and the kids loved it. I bet they would love YGG just as much.
