    Hi,

Today I gave my LO's yogurt mixed with banana and cereals. My two boys vomited with one less than the other. I wonder why? Could it be that the mixture was heavy to digest (I used to mix it in the blender) but today I just mixed it all by hand, Or could it be that the yogurt was a bit cold?

    Thanks.

It's hard to say, have they been acting ill? Was today their first time with yogurt? It could be it might have been too thick or chilly.

Was this their first time with yogurt? If they've had it successfully before then I don't think it was an allergic reaction to it, it could have been too cold or too thick, or they may have some nasal drainage that made it too thick in their throat...could be a lot of factors that contributed to it coming back up.

Anytime something is too thick for my DS he will gag and then maybe throw up if he starts coughing too hard or gagging too hard. Maybe try hand-mixing tomorrow but leaving one ingredient out, like the bananas. See if a thinner mix helps - that usually works for us. Sometimes I get overambitious when mixing their food and thinking they're ready for a heavier texture.

For Joseph it was more likely like a vomit. As for Johnny, it was more of a spit-up. Joseph used to spit-up when he was younger but neither have milk allergy.

    Thanks all for your replies.

I think they were indeed too thick and chilly. I didn't know that consistency matters that much until I read your replies. Thanks again.
