What are your kids' favorite toys?

My girls have WAY too much stuff. I try to keep it all new and exciting by keeping different bins and rotating. But there is ONE thing that I can never take away because they play with them EVERY.DAY and will search everywhere for them if they can't find them. $3.99 magnetic wooden trains that my mom got from an IKEA booth at the mall last Christmas. These! For all the fancy (expensive) cr@p people give them, these are by far their favorites.

Their other favorite thing to play with are the ties from my sweaters and bathrobe. They 'fish' with them off the couch.

So what are your kids' favorites (actual toys or not)?

Cooper always gravitates towards Brooklyn's Barbie jeep and Barbie car. :pardon: He has plenty of cars and trucks of his own, but those are the one's he always plays with. You always find Brooklyn either drawing, reading a book or playing with her princess shoes and necklaces.

I often wonder why we even buy big expensive toys. They rarely play with those. They can be just as happy with a cardboard box! LOL!

Guess what my two are playing with right now! They are taking turns rocking themselves back and forth in the empty pull-ups box.

Really, A&B most like to draw, they prefer markers over crayons. We go through tons of paper, thinking about getting a dry erase board. They like dolls of all sorts, getting dressed up in their princess dresses, playing with blocks/legos, and the pop beads.

Ian plays with his Transformers constantly. And Anna loves to draw on her dry-erase easel. Those are the only toys they really play with consistently.

I bought My Little Ponies for the girls last Christmas and they play with them EVERY day. They also play with the little Cinderella, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty small dolls like these EVERY day and they got them for Christmas last year, too (but we had to throw the shoes away because they both stuck them up their noses). The two best things we could've gotten them and the cheapest on the list.

Those dolls look ADORABLE! I just checked out my local TRU to see if they have them in stock. I think they'd be great for our 6 hour plane ride over the holidays :)

The monkeybar dome is and has been the favorite since the day I assembled it. Everything else is fun for a day and then fun again after it's been overlooked for a while.

Kelly, before you buy a dry erase board, I feel obligated to disclose that dry erase marker does not come out of carpet or off of painted walls or wallpaper. Ever.

Bottles for their babies. They feed each other and ask us to feed them constantly. They walk around with a purse full of them. They put them in their stroller, they bring them to the table, blah blah blah.

Our current favorites are doll strollers. They love, love, love their doll strollers. I got them at Target for $9.99 each. They love to take their dolls for a walk (or run) around the neighborhood and around the house. I tell them no strollers until they are dressed and have breakfast and then they must be retired at dinner time.

Bubbles are very popular here as well.

Good to know! Bea just drew on the coffee table. Why? "I don't know" (her answer). At least it was washable marker.

But, they do make dry erase crayons that are washable!
