At what age will you/did you stop burping your babies after bottles?

My boys are 11 months old and for the most part they still burp after their bottles. I don't have to stop half way in between anymore but if I don't burp them at the end then they often puke.

I think I stopped burping them when they were around 9 months or so. They were able to hold their upper body upright really well, were sitting up really well, and were starting to stand a bit & move around. At that point, they just seemed to be able to work it out for themselves & didn't need me to burp them.

Once they were sitting up on their own I didn't need to burp them anymore. When they sat up they burped themselves.

Same here. It happened for us around 7-8 months.

Same here. Sometimes I would still give a few pats, as I had refluxers.

Thanks everyone. That's all I needed to know! My girlies seem to work burps out themselves, so I won't bother anymore.

    :thanks:
