9 month check ups

Just had to post this as I'm so proud of my little monkeys...we just had our 9 month check ups and Andy and Will are doing great. My little preemies aren't so preemie anymore. Andy is a whopping 22 lbs. and 28 inches long and my Will is catching up to his brother at 18 lbs., 11 oz. and 26.75 inches long. A long way from under 3 lbs. each The doc said their development is looking good. We need to work on sitting up and we're still having feeding troubles, especially Andy. He hates, hates, hates eating baby food. He has a bad gag reflex and hates anything being put in his mouth. He pukes right away. Fun city. So the doc said to try him on self feeding and see how it goes. I hate to be paranoid about this, but I'm soooo afraid of him choking. But I've got to try it some time.

They even got flu shots and didn't wince a bit. But now I have 2 draggy little babies. Now on to 12 months.... yeah!!!!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

That sounds like a great appointment! Mine hated baby food too and once we hit 12 months and moved to all real food it got so much easier. Hang in there!

That's awesome!!! My boys were a pound more than each of yours at birth but didn't weight 20 and 18lbs until 12 months! You're doing an amazing job momma! :clapping:
