    so far today. . .

Royce has had about 8 screaming/crying fits because I refuse to hold him 24-7. Alice is banging cabinets in the kitchen. Okay, make that 9 crying fits. Neither ate their breakfast and both cried because they played too much with their snack and I took it away. Royce took his bowl of cereal and spooned every piece onto the table, Alice took hers and poured it on the floor for the dog to eat. All while I was trying to get a cup of coffee. Not to mention that they've gotten into my yarn collection while I was making breakfast. That's fun.

I'm from Florida, can't I get a redo like the politicians do? I'll even start calling my kidlets "chad". . .

Oh I forgot that the dog ate one of Alice's shoes. The only pair that fits her. I'm trying to clean my husband's messes and I'm over it. Just friggin over it. We've been in this place for 2 months and he's already created a small disaster. Plus I broke a flourescent light bulb on top of his dresser. I'm not climbing over the mountain of clothes in front of his closet to hang up his clothes, I'm not doing his laundry anymore. I'll do all the rest of the laundry including the kids and the sheets and towels, but I'm over it. And he gets upset that this place is a mess. Well friggin step up and help. I can only do so much during the day when your son is clinging like a 3 toed sloth, the dogs that you wanted so much are annoying and have diarrhea because they keep eating sh!t.

oooh, I think I might have hit my breaking point.

Pack up the kids and get out of the house!!! Go for a walk or have a picnic lunch outside or something like that. When you are calm later, talk to your DH about how you need some help with his pile of cr@p.

hahahaha, Alice has no shoes anymore that fit! :) I'm feeling a bit better just by sitting down and chilling for a few. I know a lot of the stress is that I'm not used to being a SAHM, and I'm definitely not used to not working and the stress of trying to find a job and do all the other stuff is really getting to me.

Hope your day is looking better! I hate it when my mornings start out that way! UGH...especially before coffee. The kids should know that it is NOT fair to mommy!!

I hope your afternoon has gone better!!

I know I feel the same way when Im home on the weekends, and then I feel bad because its the only time I really have to 'spend' with the kids, that we're not rushing around on a schedule. . .but I still have household stuff that HAS to get done too.

And if all else fails, there's always tomorrow.

Bah. I'd be over it, too. Only at my house, the mountain of crap is my own, and I can't even blame my DH. It sucks.

I hope you got extra-long naps today, at least!

[IMG] Join me for a glass of wine Bex, it helps!!

We go somewhere almost every morning, even when it's not a preschool day. THe days when we stay home all day are crazy and the house ends up completely trashed.

Well, figured out part of the problem. Royce is running a fever and coughing today. So he's probably got the "Heinie" (H1-N1, hini, heinie) so no leaving the house until we're over this. But go figure he's in a good mood.
