If having a singleton after twins would seem like one was missing? The thought just struck me. I'm always doing 2 of something (diapering/bottleing) so just doing 1 would be weird.

I think it would feel weird! But think about all the cuddle time you could have with just one baby! Well maybe not with 2 toddlers running around LOL

I have thought about that as well. Everything in my life comes in Two's so it would be weird to only have to do one of everything.

I thought being pregnant with a singleton after my twins would feel odd, but it feels quite normal. There's a lot less worry for me at least and I have to say I'm very grateful for being able to experience a twin pregnancy/birth and a singleton. I think it will seem like things get done much quicker though once she gets here. I still can't imagine only changing one diaper, breastfeeding one or making one bottle or feeding one baby in a high chair!

Let me tell you, having one after having had two .... is MUCH easier!!!! I am really glad to have this chance of having just one baby to cuddle, one baby to BF, one baby to rock and smother with love and kisses. It's really a different experience all together. I wouldn't change having my twin girls for all the world. I love them to pieces and i love that they are twins ... But I love having my singleton too. It really is a lot easier.

I've wondered the same thing. I feel like I'm missing something if I have just one of the boys with me.

Me too. If I only have 1 of the girls with me and a stranger says anything to us I feel like I have to explain that she has a twin.

Occasionally I take out whomever is awake and leave DH with the asleep baby. If someone asks me about the baby, I feel compelled to tell them he's a twin. I almost consider it a gift of honest curiosity/love of babies- NOT the stampede I get when I take out the boys in the Snap N Go, LOL.
