Another vote for "nipple stim" ;) it will definitely bring on those contractions! I know there's an actual method to it, too. I know you can google it. And hey, if you end up here in FL there are some great hospitals :)

Seriously they didn't deliver you?!!!?!?! That makes no sense at all especially since you are almost 38 weeks. It can take very little time for her to go downhill from there and that just doesn't make any sense. I would call the doctor and request that something be done immediately to get them out.

I'm very glad that you got her to move around after eating all that sugar. That's exactly what I would've tried. It seems like they weren't concerned after looking at the u/s, so maybe she moved sufficiently for their concerns?? I'm glad they are having you in on saturday though. Hope your natural methods work to put you into labor!! Nothing like a little time with dh to get those contractions going... no guarantee it'll put you into labor, but it'll make you have contractions at least!!

Did you have a second scan at the hospital?

At 38 weeks, I'd definitely think they would just deliver you. My peri would not have let me go past 38 weeks anyways.

Thank goodness! My MIL was pregnant with identicals before she had Nick and lost them both at 37 weeks. She went in for lack of movement and cramping.... they sent her home and that night she went back again, and both had died. This is my biggest fear right now and I am SO glad to see a happy ending :)
