Let's talk about Black Friday!

I was contemplating the outlets, but there isn't really anything I need there. HAVE FUN!!!!!!! :3:

 

:slap: You have to NEED something to do Black Friday shopping. News to me! Get out there :diablo:

 

I have been "Black Friday" shopping all week on Amazon. I cannot forsee me getting out in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow. I hope you crazy folk have fun.

I was out and back. I did the walmart trip at 5am and bought a digital camera and a ds that were on sale. I have a dunkin donuts coffee and I am now back in bed. I guess I am not a wild black friday shopper like others!!

 

Just got back from my outing. I left the house at 3:45 and was home by 5:30. I only went to Kohl's and Toys R Us. Everything I wanted to buy, I got. :woohoo:

I was going to stop in Best Buy since it's right next to Toys R Us, but the line was wrapped around the building and that was 1/2 hour after they were opened!!

The lines at both places were not that bad. Toys R Us opened at midnight so I think that's why it was not too crazy when I got there at 4:30.

 

I saw people camped out at Best Buy at 12:30 yesterday!!!

 

I just posted in the den but I will post here too.

My friend and I left at 4 am, went to WalMart and got everything we needed. It was a huge help that WalMart price matched black friday ads. So that cut out my trip to Target. The 12 pack of batteries at Walmart for $2.50 was amazing. Plus the $3 pj's.

We headed to Kohls and I got some gifts for co workers, then to Kmart where they had $5.99 jeans and some other toys. Then we went to Ace.

I was home around 8. Good deals. I really want to go to Macys but the mall crowd is just scary to me today.

 

Good deals this morning!! :yahoo: I will say though this is my 4th going but the first time I've been to Wal-Mart. NEVER again. EVER. There were some great deals but I waited in line waaaay too long. The other stores were so organized it was worth the short wait line. I was so excited about the ridiculous deals at Old Navy!! :clapping:

 

I got some great deals at TRU :woo: , but we waited in line at Best Buy like cattle with pushes forward every 30 minutes for 3 hours. And we still didnt get the $198 laptop. That was insane. Never again. We did Walmart about an hour after it opened and it was disgusting. The girls clothes were practically gone and what wasnt bought was all over the floor. We left with nothing.

 

My son and I went to Target. Thanks to him we got everything I wanted. (Although the fist fight in electronics (over a tv) really turned him off shopping. I had Dh go to WM to get the V smiles (?) 30.00 video game and 10.00 games. Plus 2.oo towels. I am taking it all back towels rang up 3.50 each. Games were 10.00 according to flyer yet only the spongebob game came up 10.00. Dh argued with them and customer behind him too about add saying v pocket games 10.00. They wouldn't budge. So they can have it all back. (It feels like a bait and switch.)

 

I was one of the crazy people out at 3am at Walmart... Got everything I wanted - my receipt said 41 items! I also ordered my new laptop at the stroke of midnight during the online sale

And I finished up the trip with a Peppermint Mocha from SB! How funny that so many of us do that...
