I had my 35 week appointment today and had the GBS testing done. While she was down there my OB asked if she could check me.
Im 50% effaced and 1cm dilated. Id like to think that maybe this baby will come early but I know people stay dilated/effaced for weeks- heck I was that woman with the twins!

I started dilated at 29weeks & got induced at 37weeks, although I was on meds & bedrest during that time...hrmmm

Anyone else at the same point? Im getting anxious!

Look at it this way... 1cm is closer than 0cm!! I'm usually totally closed until I go into labor. Hang in there a few more weeks!

I keep telling the baby to hurry up!
Hang in there just a few more weeks to go. We go Monday to set up our C-section date & I'm thrilled.
Ready to meet this little guy and it's hard bending down picking up all the toys around the house..LOL!!!
Best of Luck & Talk to you soon :)

we're due very close together. I'm 36 weeks today. Haven't been checked yet (not sure if I want to) but we're so anxious to meet the new baby here.

Note of caution the real risk is trying to avoid toys and ending up falling on your kid! I was 1/2 way onto the bed (mattress on the floor) trying to avoid a pile of books/toys when I noticed our DS was sitting right below me. I think it must have felt like there was an elephant about to sit on him. He started yelling "mommy" but seriously objects in motion stay in motion.

At least we are not as big as we were with twins!
