ID or Fraternal?

At my 9 weeks scan when I found out I was having twins, the sonographer thought they had two separate placentas. At 18 weeks she said there was only one placenta and she said she thought she could see a break but maybe not. I think my girls look completely different, but most people can't tell them apart. I know everyone is probably sick of this game, but just wondering what you ladies think! You have more experience than other people :)

We love this game! I have a hard time telling unless they are in the same picture though! I really doubted my boys were ID so once I had the DNA test done and found out they were, I can see little differences in all the babies. Can't wait to see more pics of them!

They are very rarely awake and happy at the same time so its hard to get pictures together but I added a few that I have that arent too old!

Well, I think they do look a lot alike. Hmmm, tough call, but I'm going to say ID. And really cute!

I totally look forward to these threads!!! :) It's hard to tell with your girls in these photos, but my guess is ID. I do know they are very beautiful! When my boys were 4 months old we decided to do a DNA test. I didn't find out I was pregnant with twins until 19 weeks and by that time the placenta(s) looked like one. However the pathology report done after they were born said it was two placentas fused.

Do your girls have the same blood type? What about them makes you think they are fraternal?

We used the company DNA Solutions for $99. Not a bad price for that kind of answer.

I like these threads, too! :) I also vote ID; if I were you, I would totally spring for the DNA test to find out for sure! What cuties. :)

Beautiful babies you have! My DH (who was next to me) and I could see the differences between the two girls.

Totally, 100% identical. The eyes are a dead giveaway AND they have the same distinct features. Since the early U/S said two placentas, they probably did have two which still gives them the "option" lol of being identical.

    Totally cute!

I love this game too. My guess it identical, they look so similar, especially their eyes, nose and mouth. They are way cute, love the pumpkin picture!! :D :D

It's hard for me to really tell this young because I think most new babies look alike, but I'm going to guess ID. Their eyes and noses seem very much alike. If I were you I'd do the DNA test if their blood types are the same so that you can know for sure.

I think their eyes are completely different! One totally reminds me of her dad and the other doesn't at all. I think that's why I had doubts that they are ID

You can see differences because you are the mom! ;) I vote ID too!

I have b/g twins and people STILL think they are identical! Cracks me up!

This is why I thought my boys were fraternal. I still see so much more of my DH in Jake and a lot of my mom's side of the family in Ryan. So strange!!
