New to site...have 1 month old boy/girl twins

    Hello!

    I'm new to the site.

    My name is Lyndsey and I am 29 years old. I have been married to my high school sweetheart since 2001. We have a 3 year old daughter named Kayley and 1 month old twins named Emma and Evan who were born on September 9th at 37 weeks 5 days. Emma weighed 5lb 5oz and Evan weighed 5lb 15oz. They were both 18 1/2 inches long. They have brighten our lives so much. I love having twins and can't wait to see how their personalities develop as they grow. At the moment they eat, sleep and pee/poop.

    Just wanted to say Hello!

    Thanks for the wonderful welcomes. Emma and Evan weren't even the top favorites. We had 3 names picked out for each sex and the middle names were set in stone. We let Kayley pick the names. My husband and I wanted Hannah Grace and Bryce Michael and then Lilly Ann-Grace and Zayne Michael were the other choices. I got to do the samething when my sister was born, and ironically I didn't pick my parents top choice either!

    But thanks again. Can't wait to get to know everyone.

    Welcome! I have Emma Elizabeth and Eli Tanner. My twins were born on 9/15 so our twins are really close in age!

    Thanks. Great to have mom's hear that have twins close in age. :)

    Tinalb- She didn't want a sibling, let alone two of them. When we found out they were a boy and a girl, she wanted to trade Evan in for a sister! She's adjusting pretty well for the most part.

    My daughter Tess was 7 when Luke & Lila were born, just 6 when I found out I was pregnant & she was so upset when we told her. She wanted no part of having babies around, she liked being the baby herself. After they were born, it was a different story. She is by far my biggest helper & adores them both so much. I'm sure your daughter will adjust well, too. And at 3, she won't have any really clear memories of a time before they were born.

    Welcome!! I hope you find this forum as helpful as I have. Btw, my brother's name is Bryce and we gave that as a middle name to Colin.

    Thats sweet that you let your daughter pick the names :) congrats on your twins and welcome to TS. You'll love it here. Its also cool that your twins were born on the 09/09/09. Pretty special :D
