What is your nap routine?

I honestly cannot remember what we did for a nap routine for my older son. I know what we do now but I can't remember what we did as a baby. Anyone want to share their routine? I need ideas :)

The first year we kept nap/bedtime routine really simple. Nap was bottle (when they were really young that put them to sleep) then into crib/PNP with nature sounds cd playing. (From 2-5 months most naps were in the swing or bouncy chairs). For night (after bottle), we would rock them for a bit but not always till they were asleep, put them down, kisses from Mommy and Daddy then turn on music box lullaby (from when I was a kid). That was it. You really don't need to worry too much about a bedtime routine though for another month or more, but I completely understand that urge to have more control over things.

ETA: until 4.5 months they slept in their infant carriers. No routine for us until 5 months.

When they were younger it was bottle, change diaper, change jammies if necessary (since they stayed in sleepers all day anyways), swaddle and lay in crib with fan running and lullabies turned on.

Now its basially the same but instead of swaddle it's put in sleep sack, re-arrange them a dozen times because they crawl all over the crib, then turn out the light and run out the door, hopefully before they are crawling on top of each other again!

We just did bottle then bed. We would usually turn on some light music of some kind & that was it. Nothing too elaborate for us.

Naps were all over the place for us until the kiddos were around 6 months. Once they got into a nap routine, we would do quiet time, a bottle, change of diapers, then take them to the crib with some music and put them down for the nap.

My girls get a shower or a bath, then they get their only bottle of the day (EBM or formula) in their room in dim light, then they get swaddled, and finally go into their swings while still awake. If they are fussy at all, I massage their feet and belly during their bottle.
