4 months shots questions

    Hey everyone,

    Aaron and Cooper are due to get their 4 months shots next week, they suffered quite a bit the last time and i was wondering if there was any cream i could put on their little legs before the shot to make it a little less painful?

    Don't quote me on this but I think you can request it at the doctor's office. You could always call them and ask if they make it available to patients.

    I have read the same thing in Parenting magazine. When my twosome were that little, I would give them Tylenol 30 minutes before their appointment and have a bottle on hand to give them afterwards. Good luck!

    I agree with Nancy, a bit of Tylenol should make them feel better! I hope it's easier than you think & they just sail through them! :hug:

    Thank you for all your replies, i'll try and call the peds' office and ask them.
    Thanks for the tip about giving them the Tylenol before the shots, i always gave it afterwards[​IMG]

    I would take the Tylenol with me to the appointment and once we got settled in the waiting room, I would give them a dose and then continue it for 24 hours. Good luck.
