Cereal options besides Cherrios

Are there any good cereals for babies to eat as finger foods besides Cherrios? My LOs love Cherrios, but I'm looking for other options for variety. They like Puffs, but it doesn't seem like Puffs have much nutritional value.

    Thanks!

Most cereal is good as long as it doesn't have a lot of added sugar. Mine always liked Mini Wheats. I broke them in half (or quarters, depending on the age) and put a bit of milk on them. They still eat them at least once a week.

Try Life cereal. I never had it before daycare, but daycare provides it and it's half-way healthy and tastes good!

Ignore the Life comment. I just re-read your question. This is a great cereal for starting around 12 mo at the least probably.

I used shredded wheat, too. I soak it in milk for a couple of minutes while I'm getting the rest of the meal ready. when I give it to them, they slurp the milk out and eat the little pieces. Definitely break it up small, though...mine get half mini wheats (unsweetened) at this age!

    Mine like:

    blueberry mini wheats
    KIX
Fruity cheerios (it looks like fruity pebbles but healthier!)

We haven't tried much other than that for them to have on their own.
