Talk to me about Pixos...

My kids have been asking for Pixos for a long time. I've been hesitant, but am considering getting them for Christmas. So tell me about them. Good or bad?

 

My older kids have had them (we had them back when they were called whatever else it was and they were recalled, and we have the new ones). They really enjoy them and there isn't too much mess except the occasional lost bead on the floor. And they are easy enough that they don't really need much help with them.

 

IDK, but I got the Pen at Wal-Mart this weekend for L&M for Christmas. It was only $7 on the clearance shelf and ever time they see it on TV they go crazy. However, it may be like the Bendaroos they HAD to have for their birthday too.

 

I've never heard of them so I had to go look them up. I guess they are the new rebranded aqua dots, minus the poison in them. :laughing:

My big kids wanted the Bendaros SO BADLY!!!
They played with them 1 time! Ugh! They were so bored with them.

 

Yep, complete waste of $20.

 

That AND my time! I had ordered it online and they were back ordered so I had to cancel that order then hunt them down around here. I got the last box at Walgreens. Then the back ordered one came anyway 1 month after Christmas so I had to mail that back and call to get a refund! SO not worth it!

Oh, I hate the Bendaroos....
They begged for them last year. So I got them and they are a total PITA. Maybe when they are older they will like them better.

The big boys had them back when they were aqua dots. They loved them when they played with them. My problem is storing the darn things.
