Do you feed them at the same time, or one after the other? How do you do it? We are going to be starting cereal in about a month and I'd like to know the best, most time efficient way ;) TIA Ladies!

I fed them both at the same time. Usually I gave one a spoonful and then the other one. I fed them in their bumbo seats when they first started solids. I also fed them the cereal at their most cooperative time of the day, which for them was about an hour after they woke up. Good luck!

You only feed them solids one time a day at first? I am so clueless to this. Hopefully the pedi will explain to me what to do. :p

Our pedi had us start with cereal once a day for a week, then the second week we could add a vegetable feeding. She suggested that we cycle through all the veggies before we added a fruit feeding. My suggestion (I wish I had thought of this when mine were getting to the age to start solids) is to make up a list of questions for your pedi, so you have them ready when you get there for the visit and won't forget any solids related questions you wanted to ask. Good luck!!

Same time, same bowl, same spoon! I started with "dinner", in between the last two bottles, and then added lunch and breakfast once they were good with eating off of the spoon.

I did it at the same time. I gave one spoonful to one baby and then one spoonful to the other baby.

When I first started, I only did one at a time and I didnt do it every day. Once they got really proficient at it, I fed them at the same time.

I tried to feed them at the same time but couldn't as one baby wants the attention all to himself and doesn't wait the time to give the spoon to his brother. besides sometimes one baby awake before the other so I feed him while his brother is asleep. In the case they both want to eat at the same time, I let the housekeeper or my DH when he's not at work start feeding one baby while I am feeding the other. As soon as I finish, I take over the feeding.

    Good luck!

I did the same, except I started with breakfast.

Same time, separate spoon and bowl. We used the bouncy seats at first, which they hated until we started feeding them in them. Quickly switched to high chairs due easier clean up. I don't recommend feeding in the Bumbo's because mine like to lean forward and grab for the spoon, so the straps on the high chair and bouncy helped control them a bit.
