Anyone have the kangaroo climber? I know the koala climber has been mentioned before. We are thinking of getting something like this and then buying a "big kid" swing set when the twins are closer to 3...is that logical? Hoping the kangaroo climber will last 2yrs? We would also probably get a sand/water table next summer (we also have some ride on cars, basketball hoop, ect)...is this enough "stuff" in the backyard to keep them entertained?!lol.
LOL! Everything you mentioned-my kids already have! :FIFblush: The swingset was a gift from their great-grandparents in Italy. The Kangaroo climber was a gift from their grandparents for their first birthday and I got the sand/water table this spring-they were 18 months or so. The Kangaroo climber I think you may get a few years worth out of it. My sil has one and it's in her basement still-the kids are 4 and 6 now. If it's inside-you may get a lot of use out of it. With the bigger swingset that we have-the boys tend to go towards that one-but they still use the Kangaroo Climber and go down the slide, etc. The sand/water table has gotten a lot of use out of it. And the best part is-you don't have to use just sand/water. You could do many things, especially in the colder months, you could bring it inside. Have fun shopping!
We have the Kangaroo Climber & my girls LOVE it!!! I bought it to use inside since we have some rainy/cold days around here in the Pacific Northwest :good: They play on it just about every day. I bought it off Craigslist from a mom who never used it outside & was in perfect condition ~ so you might want to check your local craigslist :good: Loved our sand/water table as well, though I never bough sand for it  I just filled up both sides with water
I got one for the boys around 18 months and they love it. They play on it every day. I keep it inside b/c we have too many hot days! Not to mention the zillion of lizards that are outside that I would rather not hang out with. I went to TRU to get them a sand/water table and got the climber instead. I figured we'd get more use out of it.
My kids still occasionally play on it at almost 4. Not a lot (they only really used it a lot the summer they were about 18 months), but enough that I'm not getting rid of it yet. Now that they're older, they're very proud that they can climb up the outside and over the top.
The kangaroo climber was awesome for my boys. We got it around 16 months. We had it in the house and it really helped for the winter for them to have that to play with. My boys used it until the following summer and then that was it.
