Is there a video monitor out there than can capture two cribs?

I asked my DH your question (we have a video monitor) he says ours could if we had it set up different the room but it probably would not be a full view of both cribs. We have the Summer Infant one. I would love for them to come out with a monitor that you can see the cribs in both rooms, since our twosome are in their own rooms.

For now ours are in the same room until they are 2 or 2.5. My son LOVES to take off his diaper and smear poop everywhere, but he's too quiet when he wakes up I think they are still asleep! So I would like a video monitor, preferably a view of both cribs. I guess just as long as I get him it would be worth it.

I'm pretty sure there are at least two models out there that you can add a camera to...

a friend recommened this MobiCam, thought I haven't gotten it yet.

Here's a link, but I didn't research if this is the best deal...

thank you so much for the recommendation! We just got this on Amazon.com it came with two video cameras, so it will be perfect for us even when the children are in different rooms. Thank you again.

When you get it installed, please let us know how it works! I'm interested in seeing how good the "night vision" is. DH said that a video monitor isn't necessary (we have an audio-only monitor), but I'm finding that I would love to peek in on the boys without disturbing them.

I am interested to hear what you think too...

On another note-how long do you use a baby monitor?

I will definitely let everyone know how it works out. We have just a regular baby monitor that we haven't used since I don't know , maybe 11 months old. It worked great, but they are only in the room right a crossed from ours and we can hear everything. I really want a video one because my son is SOOOO quiet upon waking and he takes off his diaper. Plus since this one has two video cameras I anticipate it to be awesome for when they each have their own room so I can always see what they are up to during nap time, and during the night time. Plus we'll keep it around for the next baby in a couple of years :)

We have this wireless camera and I am loving it. The site has ones with two-four cameras as well. DH and I couldn't decide go for the high price of the baby video monitors. This is a cheapy, but it's been great so far. We put the camera on the other side of the room and the view is wide enough that I can see both cribs. The reciever is plugged into the television in our bedroom so we can see if they are really asleep and when they get up. We just got it a few months ago when we got concerned that DS1 was close/trying to climb out of his crib. I love watching them play together from their own cribs :)

We have the Summer Infant handheld one and two cameras. We have one camera above each crib. I switch it to channel A if I want to see Annelise and to channel B if I want to see Karina. It works great.

We bought like a video "survallance" (I cant spell btw) system from Sams club. Its wireless and came with 2 cameras. they have infa-red for night time.
We have one positioned on each crib. Then we hooked the reciever up to our television. You can also tape with a VCR whatever the monitors are catching.
It has a little remote that will "scan" and flips between the two shots.

We have found this INCREDIBLY helpful since we have moved them to toddler beds :) Its fun to spy on your kids and watch them sleep or lack thereof!

So we set them up. We need another light bulb for My sons side of the room night light. I can see his crib, but not really as bright as I could see my daughters. I do like that it just plugs into my wall and is on my night stand. I can just look over and see it alternating between both cribs. How awesome! I can't wait until the morning so I can see them for a few minutes talking to eachother ;)

Im telling you, wait until toddler beds. We had a "game night" at our house tonight so we put the kids to bed when our company showed up 7:30ish. When everyone was getting ready to leave I flipped the monitor on just to see them and they were sleeping together in the same bed! (first time thats happened!).
    Too cute.
