identical twins and teeth...

So Aurora got her 1st tooth 3 weeks ago, and her second a week ago. Maya is still toothless. I know that they are still different people but i would have figured that they would have come in at the same time!?

Anybody have the same thing happen? I'm curious to see when Maya will get her 1st. (although she was extra fussy today, but we still don't have any evidence of teeth anytime soon..)

 

My one son would get a tooth and then a week or two later, my other son got his.

 

My guys got some of their teeth within a day of each other but others were up to 5 or 6 weeks apart. They didn't get the same or opposite tooth everytime either. I know it goes that way for some but certainly not for all.

 

Mine got their first teeth almost a month apart. Then for the top teeth they were a couple weeks apart.

 

Seth broke the first tooth and a week later Nate broke his… BUT Nate was such a diva for 3 weeks I almost got him a bedazzled t-shirt w/ “Drama King” on it… then one night in bath… 2 BIG molars… it was almost a month before Seth broke his… poor bugger butts … I have since stopped calling Nate a Diva :hush:

But I to thought it odd they didn’t get them at the same time… don’t know why… but I remember a year ago thinking the same thing as you :unknw:

Isabelle got her first two teeth close to 7 months and Aurielle got her two bottom teeth just last week.

 

my girls are teething at completely different times & in different orders. :unknw:

 

Mine sometimes get teeth at the same time and sometimes they don't. There have been times when one twin got a new tooth weeks before her sister. I think it's pretty normal.

 

My boys got their teeth in completely different orders and weeks to months apart. The first tooth was 5 weeks apart. Ryan had 3 or 4 teeth before his brother had one. I can't believe the difference in how they handle the pain too.

 

This is how it has happened for my boys as well. The first few came in opposite within days. Then all of a sudden the same tooth came in, but were weeks apart. Now at 16 months they have the exact same number of teeth.
