We've recently had an incident where one little lady decided to take off her diaper in her crib after pooping.. and then decided to play with it happily -- Thus creating a mess for mommy and daddy to clean up [IMG]

I've been searching for underwear for toddlers and am not having any luck. Anyone have any suggestions??

    :bad: Lucky you!!!

The smallest I've found was size 2T and I've found them at Walmart. :good: My dd just now is fitting into them nicely.

The smallest I could ever find was "2T/3T." I got them at Target. But they would have been huge on my kids at 14 months -- they fit pretty well when they finally PT'd around the age of 3.

The first ones I got were from Target. Then I had a coupon at Gymboree and bought some of theirs and they are so nice so I think that is where I will always get them now.

The Sesame Street ones at Wal-Mart are TINY. They look like the size printed on the package when you first unwrap them but one washing and they shrink down two sizes. My super skinny little boys needed a 3T in these when all of their 2s were droopy and nearly falling off.

I get my girls 2T/3T undies at target. I think they are by Hanes and they seem to be the only ones that fit them. They are skinny minnies at 4yo and 28lbs and everything else I have tried (Carter's and Gap) have fallen off.

No, those are Fruit of the Loom (which runs BIG and fits their head better than their behind but they wear them anyway because they love the character prints).

The 2T ones at walmart are not all created equal in size either. Read the packages.
Hanes vs fruit of a loom etc say 2T/3T but when you look at the weight and waist size they are designed for, some are smaller than others.

My best friend (another mom of multiples) also had a girl who loved to do what your daughter did. Poop painting. She had to go to great lengths to keep her sanity as her daughter wasnt ready to potty train.
Ideas and theories tested and tried were:

ducktape on the diaper (except she started pulling out poop by the inside of her thigh!)
    Onesies
    Onesies with pants or pantyhose
full zippered pajamas with a button over the zipper at the top
    sleep sacks on backwards
Full zippered pajamas that were 2 sizes too small (pedi recommneded) because she was pulling her arm in through her arm sleeve getting the poop and then shoving it back out the arm whole (when she couldnt figure out the zipper).

Best of luck with your new Picasso!

the Hanes 2T/3T fit my 24lb daughter very well! They start at 20 lbs...

The Children's place XXS (size 2-3) also runs small

avoid the Carters 2T/3T - they are HUGE HUGE HUGE!
