I do too. Not all the time but more then I thought I would when I found out I was having 2 girls. Or I put my one girl in purple and the other in pink.

I hardly ever dress them the same unless someone buys me two of the same outfits to take a pic and to give the person. Twins that I have talken to that are older said they hated it when their parents dressed them a like because they said it took away from their individuality. We've been approached by people that thank us for not dressesing them alike because they were twins and hated it.

coordinating outfits sometimes, but i like to dress them differently since they are two different people.

Oh no, you've ruined the thread!! (Totally kidding of course, that's sounds really cute, I wish I could find more coordinating (but not matching) stuff for my girls!)

I dress them matching most of the time when I'm around to tell people who's who. At daycare I dress them differently just so once they figure out who is wearing what that day they can tell at a glance who is who. Once they have an opinion on what they wear I wont do it anymore.

Erica, I agree with you. I dress them alike now, but when they are old enough to tell me they don't want to dress alike, I'll gladly not do so. For now, I don't think it hurts a thing.

My girls are constantly matching. Most of the time it is the same thing, different color. Sometimes it is exactly the same and I will put a different color bow in their hair. this is mostly so people don't ask me 700 times a day who is who. I think that twins may resent being dressed alike later, but I strongly doubt they care now. And looking back at their baby pictures, I bet they will think they looked adorable!

yes, most of the time we do! sometimes however, they will wear similar outfits but they aren't exactly the same; maybe a different design or color.

They usually wear coordinating outfits and sometimes I dress them alike but as they get older they can wear what they want:)

I have two of everything. Bottles, burp clothes, socks, whatever it is we have two. When it comes to toys I try to buy similar ones and not the same, but if I buy one and they both like it, I'll buy another! I'm a dork!

No, almost never. If somebody buys us matching outfits then sometimes, but even then we usually don't. I really want them to never think they are the same. I mean they are identical so I would like to individualize them in other ways.

I dont dress my boys the same unless we feel like it for a special occassion. My boys are also in two different sizes so I don't bother buying the same outfits.

i dress my girls alike about 2/3 of the time, and usually for professional photos. but in a couple of weeks, they're having more professional photos and will be wearing different outfits for the first time.

We begin some days with dressing them the same but typically after a couple of hours we have to change one of them due to drooling or spitting up so they almost always end up with different outfits! hahaha but very true!

I always find it interesting that it seems more often parents of twin girls dress them alike than twin boys. I wonder why that is?

  19. When I was pregnant with my girls I said I would not dress them alike told everyone I would not dress them a like asked at my shower for different outfits. Okay I blew it the other day my husband said thought you was not going to dress them alike..Most days they are alike some days not it is more alike than differnt.

My boys are almost always wearing the same outfit, but in different colors. Since they are size 2T now they have a ton of striped shirts which I think all coordinate with each other. When they were babies I would get those Carter's sets w/ 5 coordinated onesies and then if they had to have a new outfit, I had another coordinated one ready! If we are going somewhere busy (like a park or party) I try and dress them the same so I can keep an eye on them easier. I do have to say that I dressed them in the same outfits a lot more when they were little than I do now.

I always said I wouldnt, but I coulnd resist. Now that they can choose what they want to wear they still wear the same stuff all the time

Hardly ever exactly alike...even when they were younger...only when someone bought me the same outfit. I do dress them in coordinating outfits(feels off if I have to change the outfit on one of the boys and not the other)...usually they wear the same pants/shorts and shoes but different color/stripes/pattern shirt.

    Interesting question!

My boys look nothing alike so I feel like I have to compensate and have them coordinate (one blue, one red - same outfit) or match for special occasions. At home i could care less though.

We also make a habit of not dressing them the same as I do not want them to recent it later on in life as there are stories from Twins that I've heard. They seems to be dressed in simaliar clothing!!
