Tonights the night. We're making the babies sleep in the crib. So far they've slept in their cow chairs, but its time. We've got Noah in there right now and is sleeping good. I tried to lay Luke down but he cried immediately and I didn't want him to wake up Noah, so he's sleeping on my chest right now. I'm getting ready to try again here in a few minutes. This could be a long night for me. Pray for me that we get this done.

I had a similar situation where my boys were sleeping in their chairs until almost 4 months because they wouldn't sleep laying down. It only took a few nights but we made the transition. I put wedges under their matress to elevate their heads a little and I had to continuously plug my bigger guys soother in until he would finally give in. Hang in there, it will come. Good Luck :youcandoit:

Good luck. We went cold turkey into the crib at 4 months for nights and it was tough at first, but they adjusted in a couple of days. GL!

Well, it looks like Luke is going to be the hold out on this. Noah did great. Granted he was up twice last night when normally he gets up once and sometimes not at all. But still, he slept in the crib. Luke slept in the crib at first. After I got him good and asleep rocking him, he slept til 1AM. After that, he would wake up almost immediately after laying him in the crib. Unfortunately, most of the rest of the night, he slept in the recliner with my husband, so that probably didn't help anything. Tonight Luke will be mine and my husband will have Noah, so maybe with mommas touch and a little patience we can have a better night tonight.

Wow, good luck! With my daughter, who is 2.5, we didn't get it to work until she was 6 months! She preferred to sleep on someone at all times! She still sleeps in our bed most nights! She still hates her bed! I think she just got used to the comfort and snuggles. With the twins, who are almost 8 weeks, we have primarily been using the porti-crib and their vibrating chairs. However, this past week we have been using their porti-crib consistently for bed time! It has been working pretty well! Good luck to you! It's hard to get those little ones to lay flat!!
