When to give them baths separately?

If you have boy/girl twins, when is the cut off age to give them a bath separately?

 

I don't know if there is a specific 'cut off age'. I think it depends on the children and family and what everyone is happy/comfortable with.
If I had to put a number on it then I'd find it hard to imagine siblings older than 10 being happy to share a bath. I would think it inappropriate once they hit puberty.

I can tell you that Naomi and Luke still take baths together (they're 5 1/2). At this point I think they will probably become uncomfortable in terms of physical space before they become emotionally uncomfortable with bathing together.

 

My B/G are 1 1/2 yrs old and I will bath them together until they tell me they want it separate. I cannot imagine that being any older than age 5 or 6. They still bath together! It will also come to a point where you need to supervise them bathing and stuff but won't have to be so hands on that 2 baths won't be horribly inconvenient.

My issue is the bedrooms.. I'm soo hoping they will share for quite a while.

Thank you ladies! Once they are out of their cribs - we are thinking about getting them their own room stuff and twin sized beds for their 2nd birthday- they will be in their own rooms. I think we'll do separate baths when they tell us or when they are 4 or 5.

 

I can remember bathing with my younger brother and he is three years younger than me. I think you've got a while before you need to separate them. They will let you know.

 

Same here. Right now it is such a time saver for us to bathe them together, so I will keep it up as long as I can.
